    4) Darga Sharif-  Darga Sharif is a world-famous Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and is the most frequently-visited pilgrimage point in Ajmer. Important attractions within the Dargah include 2 imposing gates named as Buland Darwaza. It is the mausoleum where Moinuddin Chishti's tomb is placed.

    5) Pushkar Bazaar- This bazaar is one of the famous tourist spots in Pushkara and gives you a detailed insight of the culture here. Weaved fabrics, cowhide sacks made of camel skin, utensils made of various metals, glass items, and belts; there’s a lot to pick. Rose pulp is a popular item in Pushkar. Similarly, the traditional Rajasthani outfits are also worth the pick. Surprisingly, all these items are easy on pockets.

    Mandi is often referred to as the Varanasi of east. It is around 81 temples and is situated on the banks of the river Beas. This place got its name from Sage Mandav who meditated here and is perhaps the second most populated town in Himachal. Shimla being the first one. Mandi is popular amongst trekkers and is the start point of many treks towards Shikari Devi, Barot, Jhatingri, Karsog, etc.

    1) Prashar Lake- This lake lies 49 km north of Mandi and has a three storied pagoda-like temple dedicated to the sage Prashar. The lake is located at a height of 2730 m above sea level with deep blue waters and is surrounded by snow-topped peaks. Visiting Prashar Lake is a must in Mandi.

    2) Bhootnath Temple- This temple is located in the centre of the town and is devoted to Lord Shiva. There is Nandi or Lord Shiva's bull facing the ornamental arch entrance to the complex. The festival of Shivaratri is celebrated grandly in this temple.

    3) Pandoh Dam- This dam is constructed on Beas river to primarily solve the purpose of hydroelectric power generation for Mandi. The location is beautiful and full of greenery. The view of water being released is unusual to watch. However, this view requires you to be there at the correct time.

    4)  Tappapani- Literally meaning ‘hot water,” this point is located on the banks of River Sutlej. It has a panoramic view of the hills. The natural sulphur spring is said to own curative properties to cure many ailments and conditions. An interesting fact about this spring is that it disappears during the month of July and reappears in December.

    Orchha is situated on the banks of Betwa River and was the capital of one of the most powerful dynasties to ever rule in India-the Bundelas. This city is full of medieval architecture and has palaces and temples that convey this city's rich cultural heritage. The magnificence and grandeur of the Havelis and temples are absolutely breathtaking and manage to cast a spell on tourists from all around the world.

    The world famous temple, Chaturbhuj Temple was built by Queen of Orchha, named Ganeshi Bai. Chhatris, Dauji ki Haveli, and Lakshmi temple are a few other places that cannot be missed by any tourist travelling to Orchha.

    Attractions:

    1) Jahangir Mahal- Jahangir Mahal also known as the Orchha fort is a classic example of Mughal style architecture. The domes are built according to Timurid customs, gates are wide and large enough to allow entry of the war elephants. This palace was very important and precious to the Mughals.

    2) Raja Mahal- Raja Mahal has withstood the test of time without losing its charm. It transports you back to one of the golden eras of history and lets you be a part of it virtually. The palace is constructed with impeccable architecture and breathtaking grandeur. It also has magnificent towers and stunning murals which will make your visit here an absolute delight.

    3) Ram Raja Temple- Rich in history, this temple stands on the same ground where the Idols to be installed in the magnificent Chaturbhuj Temple were kept. However, when the idols were kept on the ground, they could not be budged. This marked it to be a holy place and thereafter the construction of this temple took place. This temple has colourful walls and an intriguing marble courtyard.

    4) Rafting and Boating- To take a break from visiting temples, you can redirect your trip to this adrenaline filled activity. Rafting in the river Betwa starts from the boat club. The tickets are arranged through Madhya Pradesh tourism and are available at the Betwa retreat or at Hotel Sheesh Mahal.
