Mansa Devi Temple

Manasa Devi Temple seems to have a significant space among the minds of the devotees of Shakti, the goddess this temple is dedicated to. Perched on the top of Bilwa Parvat on the Sivalik Hills, the temple offers a splendid view of the mighty Ganges and the holy city of Haridwar. Rather than being a pilgrim centre, the temple makes its value higher among the adventure seekers as well because, the temple is accessible either only by trekking the high altitude or taking the recently established rope way. Chandi Devi Temple located very close to this shrine attracts a large number of devotees everyday as there is a belief that the two forms of Goddess Parvati, Mansa and Chandi stay close to each other.

Yamunotri is considered to be the supreme among the four sites of India’s Chhota Char Dham pilgrimage. The temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna is the prime attraction here along with the charming holy thermal springs at Janki Chatti. It was constructed by Maharaja Pratap Shah of Tehri Garhwal. The whole location arranges the best features such as lush green meadows, glacier sights and revamping climate throughout the year. But majorly, the difficulty to reach the top extends a thrilling experience to those who love adventure and escapades. You can reach the location by walking through the rugged plains and roads, 6 KM from Hanuman Chatti and 4 KM from Janki Chatti.

This was definitely a nice trekking experience. We had some great memories to take back home and share. I really loved the whole travel too as it was a road trip for us.

Trek To Chandrashila Peak Via Tungnath was one of the good treks that I have ever been on in the past few years. Preiously, there were not these many treks. In the past few years, Indian Travel industry is booming, and there are a lot of new trekking spots. However, one must pick these wisely. Some spots are awesome, while some are just boring. This trek in Uttarakhand is a traveller’s heaven. I had a plenty of plans for my travel and the trek was the highlight of my travel. It has varied sightseeing and trekking options. The state is best to take long vacations to.

The trekking experience was great. I had a really really fun filled trek. The beautiful surrounding, the bird’s eye view of the place, and everything else added more beauty to the travel experience. the roopkund was mostly frozen, and when we went close you could actually see the skeltons on the bed of the lake. oThis trip is something that I can never ever forget the final climb to roopkund was very difficult and tedious but it was worth it. I totally loved this trek. I wish I could take more such treks in the future.
