Aapravasi Ghat at Port Louis

Aapravasi Ghat is mainly the remnant of an immigration depot built in 1849 and it was here the indentured laborers from India, Eastern Africa, Madagascar, China and South East Asia were received in order to work on the sugar estates on the island.
