Andaman Honeymoon Packages

Reviewed by Thrillophilia Andaman Operations Team

Updated as of April 2026

Thrillophilia Andaman honeymoon packages start from around INR 19,800 per person, with most entry-level options covering 5 to 6 days depending on the island combination. The islands remain one of India’s most preferred beach honeymoon destinations, but the overall experience depends greatly on how you plan your island route. With our Andaman honeymoon packages, you are not just choosing destinations, you are also deciding how relaxed or transfer-heavy your honeymoon will feel. There is plenty to explore here, from beaches and water activities to short island-hopping experiences, but what makes the real difference is not treating every stop like a checklist.

An Andaman honeymoon usually works best when you first decide on the right island combination. For most of our verified travellers, a balanced route includes Havelock Island, Neil Island, and Port Blair. While Havelock and Neil form the main honeymoon experience, Port Blair works better as a short arrival and transit point rather than a long stay. This keeps the itinerary focused on beaches, island experiences, and downtime instead of spending unnecessary time moving between places.

What many first-time travellers often do not realise is how much ferry timing, hotel location, and activity pacing affect the quality of the trip. A well-timed transfer or a stay closer to the beach often gives you more usable time than simply adding another destination. In most cases, it is better to keep the route simple and experience each island properly rather than rushing through too many stops.

We cover the best of Andaman in one well-planned trip, depending on the duration you choose. So whether you are planning an adventure-focused honeymoon or a quieter island break, the Andamans offer enough variety for both. With our packages covering stays, meals, local transfers, activities, and guided sightseeing, you can focus on enjoying the honeymoon while we handle the logistics. Browse through our available packages and choose the one that best fits your travel style, while we take care of the rest.

Who This Honeymoon Package is Best for

  • First-time island honeymooners: As a first timer, you will love the balance of Port Blair, Havelock Island, and Neil Island with an itinerary of 6-7 days.
  • Slow-travel couples: If you like travelling slowly, your best bet will be packages that have fewer transfers, longer stays at Havelock Island, and fewer add-on excursions.
  • Adventure-loving couples: Andamans have a lot of fun activities in store for adventurers like you, ranging from snorkelling and scuba diving to kayaking and boat tours.
  • Luxury travellers: Our Andaman honeymoon packages offer beach-resort stays, premium rooms, and comfortable transfers to cater to your tastes.
  • Short-break couples: Instead of trying to cover every island, you will enjoy a simpler route that covers Port Blair and Havelock Island.

If your priority is privacy and pace, you should reduce island-hopping and stay longer at Havelock Island or Neil Island. But if you want to cover more islands and activities, you should be okay with ferry timings and transfer windows shaping the honeymoon flow.

Best Places to Cover on an Andaman Honeymoon

  • Havelock Island: This island is the heart of most of our Andaman couple packages because of how diverse it can get. It has amazing beachfront stays and some of the most famous beaches in the Andamans, such as Radhanagar, Kalapathar, and Elephant Beach. You can enjoy adventures like snorkelling, scuba diving, mangrove kayaking, sunset views, glass-bottom boat rides, sea walking, and even bioluminescence here.
  • Neil Island: Neil Island works well as a peaceful extension to Havelock, especially if you want quieter island time. The beaches here are calm and less crowded than Havelock. You can spend your time cycling around the island, beach hopping, and enjoying beautiful sunset views. Scuba diving, snorkelling, glass-bottom boat rides, and seeing the Natural Bridge are also popular activities.
  • Port Blair: Port Blair is your entry to the Andamans and is great for a short stay before you head to the islands. You can attend the evening light and sound show at Cellular Jail, visit Corbyn’s Cove, and explore local markets.
  • Ross Island and North Bay: Ross Island and North Bay are commonly combined as a quick excursion from Port Blair. You can walk through colonial ruins on Ross Island before heading to North Bay. At North Bay, glass-bottom boat rides, snorkelling, and short exploration tours will make your day trip worth the time.
  • Chidiya Tapu: A quick trip from Port Blair will take you to Chidiya Tapu, which is famous for its romantic sunset views. The lush greenery, coastal viewpoints, and quiet beaches make it perfect for evening walks, photography, and even birdwatching.
  • Baratang Island: Baratang Island is best for longer Andaman itineraries, and you will need to start early. A day here means exploring the famous Baratang Limestone Caves and going mangrove kayaking. You can also see India’s only active mud volcanoes here and add a touch of adventure to your honeymoon.

Traveller Perspective: Zaid Khan, who booked the Cruise Honeymoon Package and travelled from Bhopal in March 2026, shared that Radhanagar Beach became one of the most memorable parts of the honeymoon, describing it as one of the most beautiful beaches they had seen during the trip. He also noted that hotel arrangements, ferry transfers, and local guidance remained smooth throughout, which helped the overall island experience feel peaceful and well-coordinated.

Best Time to Visit Andaman for a Honeymoon

Dry Season (October to May)

  • Weather: These months see clear skies, minimal chances of rainfall, and temperatures ranging between 24°C and 30°C.
  • What to Do: This is the peak period for travelling with our Andaman couple tour packages, as the weather is pleasant and clear. You can relax on beaches and indulge in water adventures like snorkelling and scuba diving in the clear waters.

Rainy Season (June to September)

  • Weather: This period sees significant rainfall across the region, with temperatures ranging between 25°C and 30°C.
  • What to Do: Turbulent weather makes the sea rough, which means ferry rides between islands and water activities are affected. However, the rain does not last all day, so you can still explore museums in Port Blair and relax on Radhanagar Beach. If you are looking for a secluded, peaceful honeymoon with more focus on relaxation than exploring, this can be a good time.

Shoulder Period (April-May)

  • Weather: These months are slightly warmer, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 32°C. The weather remains clear, with sunny skies and minimal chances of rain.
  • What to Do: This period sees fewer crowds, which means cheaper stays and other facilities. If you are looking for a budget-friendly Andaman honeymoon tour, these months are perfect. You can enjoy snorkelling and scuba diving as well as other water sports and explore popular destinations without the usual crowds.

Top Experiences to Include in Andaman Honeymoon Tours

  • Scuba Diving in Havelock Island and Neil Island: This is one of the most popular experiences with our Andaman and Nicobar Islands honeymoon packages. When you opt for this, you get to explore vibrant coral reefs and rich marine life at popular dive sites like Elephant Beach. Neil Island has deeper dive sites, while Chidiya Tapu and North Bay are also convenient options from Port Blair. During your dive, you might see manta rays, reef sharks, turtles, and many diverse marine species.
  • Snorkelling across Andaman: Some of Andaman’s most popular islands for snorkelling include Havelock, Neil, and North Bay Islands. The clear waters, shallow reefs, high visibility, and variety of marine life make them the hotspots of snorkelling. Popular places include Elephant Beach and Nemo Reef on Havelock and Bharatpur Beach on Neil Island. If snorkelling isn’t your thing, glass-bottom boat rides at North Bay and Elephant Beach let you enjoy the views without stepping in the water.
  • Romantic Sunset Views at Havelock Island: The beaches here, especially Radhanagar, have some of the most amazing sunset views you will find during your Andaman honeymoon trip. The wide sandy shores and calm surroundings create the perfect romantic setup, which you can then follow up with candlelight dinners by the sea.
  • Mangrove Experiences at Havelock and Baratang Island: Another popular experience in Havelock is paddling through dense mangrove forests and narrow creeks, where the route feels quiet and immersive, especially during early morning or late afternoon. In Baratang Island, the mangrove experience usually happens as a boat ride through creek channels on the way to the famous limestone caves. Together, these two locations offer very different ways to experience Andaman’s mangrove ecosystem, with Havelock being more activity-led and Baratang feeling more exploratory.
  • Island Hopping from Port Blair: From Port Blair, you can take short boat trips to nearby islands like Ross Island, Chidiya Tapu, and North Bay Island. These islands are great for day trips where you can enjoy sightseeing, heritage walks, birdwatching, and water activities like snorkelling.
  • Sea Walking at North Bay Island and Elephant Beach: If diving is not your cup of tea but you want to see the underwater world, try sea walking. As part of the experience, you will walk along the seabed while observing dense coral forests and lots of marine life up close.
  • Bioluminescence at Havelock Island: If you are visiting the Andamans from November to January, and that too during the new moon phase, don’t miss this experience. A guided night kayaking tour lets you see the shoreline glow as tiny marine organisms light up the water at night. Since it’s a natural phenomenon, sightings are not a guarantee, but you stand a chance in the right season.

Traveller Perspective: Bhavna Suryavanshi, who booked Andaman Luxury Island Bliss | Coral Reefs and Golden Shores and travelled from Bhopal in December 2025, described the overall island journey as comfortable and well organised, especially appreciating that the itinerary allowed enough time to unwind between experiences. She noted that the slower pacing made the trip feel peaceful and memorable, which is often important for couples adding water activities during their honeymoon.

Common Planning Mistakes Couples Make

  • Trying to cover too many islands in too few days
  • Underestimating ferry timings and check-in coordination
  • Planning and booking activity-heavy days back-to-back without downtime
  • Choosing islands based on popular names instead of sensible routing
  • Assuming all beaches and stays have the same honeymoon vibe Ignoring how much the weather and sea conditions can impact different activities.

How to Reach Andaman from Major Indian Cities

By Air:

Indian cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, and Visakhapatnam have direct flights to Port Blair. Port Blair’s Veer Savarkar International Airport is the main connecting point between the islands and India. Popular airlines on the routes are IndiGo, Akasa Air, Air India Express, and Air India, which offer regular flights that take around 2 to 4 hours.

Other Indian cities like Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Pune, Goa, and Chandigarh have connecting flights to Port Blair with one or two stopovers. IndiGo, Air India, Akasa Air, and Air India Express offer regular flights that can take 6 to 12 hours.

By Sea:

Passenger ships can take you to Port Blair from Chennai, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam in 3 to 4 days, depending on the weather. While 3 to 4 ships sail per month from Chennai and Kolkata, Visakhapatnam has one monthly sailing.

Ferry Transfers and Inter-Island Planning Tips

  • It is important that you follow the right island sequence for a hassle-free trip in the Andamans. Thrillophilia’s Andaman honeymoon packages go from Port Blair to Havelock Island, then to Neil Island, and then back to Port Blair. This flow reduces backtracking and keeps the itinerary smooth.
  • Ferries between islands usually run at fixed slots, often in the morning or early afternoon, and official ferry schedules may shift depending on weather and operational conditions. If you pick a late ferry, you might lose half a sightseeing day, so choosing the right timing helps you make the most of each island.
  • Instead of packing activities right after every transfer, you should keep arrival days flexible. This lets you actually enjoy the beaches instead of rushing through them.
  • You may feel like adding more islands, but overpacking a short trip does not give time to relax. This is why sticking to a simple Port Blair-Havelock-Neil Island route will let you truly enjoy your honeymoon.
  • Try to always keep buffer time between transfers and activities, as weather changes and slight ferry delays can happen anytime. Keeping a buffer ensures you don’t miss experiences or feel rushed, especially on return days to Port Blair.

Stay Style, Food, and Practical Tips for Couples

  • Where you stay makes a difference to your Andaman honeymoon trip. So, when in Havelock Island or Neil Island, you can choose beach-facing resorts with direct beach access for more privacy and better views.
  • Nightlife in much of Andaman is more about quiet evenings by the beach and dining at resorts. The only exception is Port Blair, where you can find lounges, rooftop bars, and pubs.
  • Food in the Andamans includes fresh seafood dishes like fish curry, prawn curry, grilled lobster, and coconut-based dishes. Resorts have multiple cuisines, so you get a lot of options.
  • Carry essentials like sunscreen, sunglasses, light snacks, and motion sickness medication for ferry rides between Port Blair, Havelock Island, and Neil Island.
  • Keep a small day bag handy, as luggage handling during transfers can take time.
  • Light cotton clothing, flip-flops, swimwear, and quick-dry towels work best for island days. If you are planning water activities like snorkelling or scuba diving, carry an extra change and waterproof protection for your valuables.

Why Couples Trust Thrillophilia for Andaman Honeymoon Packages

  • Knowledge of route flows and island combinations: Thrillophilia’s Andaman honeymoon packages focus on route flows that work for honeymooners like you. We build the island combinations that work, instead of forcing too many transfers in a short trip.
  • Smooth transfers: In Andaman, ferry timings shape the day more than you expect. We don’t treat island transfers as frictionless. Rather, we account for transfer buffers and movement fatigue, so you feel excited, not exhausted.
  • Comfortable stays: For an Andaman honeymoon trip, we understand that the location and style of the stay matter as much as the island name. A good beach-facing resort with the right pace will improve your trip more than an itinerary with an overloaded checklist.
  • Right mix of activities: Just because Andaman has a wide range of water sports, it doesn’t mean you want to try them all. We get that, which is why we customize itineraries based on your preferences. We also balance water experiences with recovery time, so you enjoy all you want without any burnout.
  • Clarity: Thrillophilia’s packages confirm honeymoon route and island sequence, hotel category and meal plan before you pay anything. We also confirm ferry and transfer inclusions, major sightseeing and activity inclusions, and flight inclusion or non-inclusion before sending you to the payment portal. The only things you get confirmation on after payment are exact ferry timings, exact hotel names, and special add-ons like candlelight

Andaman Honeymoon FAQs

Why is Andaman the best place for a honeymoon?

Andaman is one of the best honeymoon destinations in India because it offers both relaxation and adventure in the same trip. Couples can spend time on quiet beaches, enjoy sunset views, and stay in sea-facing resorts while also adding activities like scuba diving, snorkelling, kayaking, and sea walking. The islands feel visually distinct from mainland destinations because of their turquoise water, white sand, and tropical setting. For many couples, it offers an international-style island experience without leaving India.

What kind of accommodation is available in Andaman?

Andaman offers a wide range of accommodation choices depending on budget and travel style. You can find budget guesthouses, standard hotels, mid-range beachfront cottages, eco-resorts, and luxury beachside resorts across the islands. Port Blair has the widest hotel inventory because most travellers arrive and depart from here. Havelock Island is usually preferred for beachfront honeymoon stays because the resort quality is stronger there.

Which part of the Andaman has the best honeymoon resorts?

Havelock Island has the strongest concentration of honeymoon-friendly resorts, especially for couples looking for beach-facing rooms and private stay experiences. Port Blair offers more hotel variety, but it is mainly chosen for arrival convenience and short overnight stays. Neil Island has fewer resorts, but many couples prefer it for privacy and quieter surroundings. Premium honeymoon itineraries usually allocate more nights to Havelock because resort quality directly affects the overall trip experience.

How much does an Andaman honeymoon package cost for 5-6 days?

A 5 to 6-day Andaman honeymoon package usually costs between INR 19,800 and INR 30,000 per person, depending on hotel category, ferry class, season, and sightseeing included. Budget packages usually cover Port Blair and Havelock with standard hotels and shared transfers. If private transfers, premium ferry seats, or beachfront resorts are added, the overall cost increases. Peak travel months, such as December to February, also tend to push prices higher because of stronger demand.

How many days are enough for an Andaman honeymoon?

For most couples, 5 to 7 days is considered ideal because it allows enough time to cover the main islands without making the trip feel rushed. Port Blair usually takes one day for arrival and local sightseeing, while Havelock needs at least two nights for beaches and water activities. Neil Island is usually added for one extra night if couples want a slower pace. Longer trips become useful mainly when remote islands or additional activities are included.

Which island is best for couples in the Andaman?

Havelock Island is usually the best choice for couples because it combines premium stays, famous beaches, and easy access to romantic experiences. Radhanagar Beach, Kalapathar Beach, and Elephant Beach all offer different moods during the day and are well-suited for honeymoon travel. Neil Island works better for couples who prefer fewer crowds and slower island time. Most well-balanced honeymoon itineraries include both islands because they complement each other.

Is Neil Island worth adding to an Andaman honeymoon itinerary?

Neil Island is worth adding if you want your honeymoon to feel slower and less activity-heavy after Havelock. It offers peaceful coastal spots like Laxmanpur Beach and Bharatpur Beach, shorter travel distances, and a quieter island atmosphere. Many couples choose one night here because it creates a natural balance in the itinerary. It is especially useful for honeymooners who want relaxation without too much movement.

Which beach is best for a honeymoon sunset in Andaman?

Radhanagar Beach on Havelock Island is widely considered the best sunset beach for honeymoon couples because of its wide shoreline and uninterrupted sea view. The beach remains calm and visually striking in the late afternoon, making sunset time especially memorable. The natural tree line and open horizon add to the overall setting. Many couples schedule their first Havelock evening around this experience.

Are private candlelight dinners available in Andaman honeymoon packages?

Yes, many premium resorts and selected honeymoon packages offer private candlelight dinner arrangements, especially on Havelock Island. These are usually set up near the beach, inside resort dining areas, or in private deck spaces, depending on the property. Advance reservation is often required because weather and tide conditions affect setup. In most cases, candlelight dinners are offered as optional upgrades rather than standard inclusions.

Is scuba diving safe for couples visiting Andaman for the first time?

Scuba diving in Andaman is beginner-friendly and considered safe when done through certified operators. Most first-time dives happen under direct supervision with instructors who guide couples throughout the experience. Beginner sessions usually happen in controlled areas near Havelock Island. Even travellers without prior swimming experience can usually participate after basic instruction and health checks.

What is the best month for an Andaman honeymoon?

The best time for an Andaman honeymoon is from October to May, when sea conditions remain stable, and ferry operations are smoother. December to March is especially preferred because the weather stays comfortable for beach visits, island transfers, and underwater activities. During monsoon months, ferry schedules can become less predictable. Couples planning premium stays usually book early during peak season because beach resorts fill faster.

Are flights included in Andaman honeymoon packages?

Some honeymoon packages include flights, while many are sold without airfare so travellers can choose flights based on their departure city and preferred timing. Packages with flights are usually priced higher because airfare changes with season and booking window. Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Delhi generally offer better flight connectivity to Port Blair. Early flight booking often helps reduce the total honeymoon cost.

Is Andaman expensive for couples compared to Goa?

Andaman usually costs more than Goa because ferry transfers, limited hotel supply, and island logistics increase the overall travel cost. However, many couples find the experience more exclusive because beaches are less crowded and island hopping adds variety. Goa offers easier flexibility for short trips, while Andaman feels more destination-led. The cost difference becomes more noticeable when the premium stays, or water activities are added.

Is Andaman better than the Maldives for a honeymoon?

Andaman is often chosen by couples who want tropical island beauty with more variety at a lower cost than the Maldives. While the Maldives is strongly resort-focused, the Andaman combines beaches, ferries, local sightseeing, water activities, and island movement in one trip. Couples who enjoy both relaxation and exploration often prefer this balance. It also remains easier to access for Indian travellers through direct domestic flights.

Can couples visit Andaman without booking a package?

Yes, couples can plan Andaman independently, but ferry coordination, hotel sequencing, and inter-island transfers require careful timing. Ferry seat availability often affects how smoothly the itinerary works between Port Blair, Havelock, and Neil Island. Packages reduce this complexity because transport and hotel flow are already aligned. For first-time travellers, this usually makes the trip smoother and more predictable.

Me and friend, being girls and alone were quite unsure about going to whole new island for the first time. But Thrillophilia helped us make an iternary which was customisable according to our choices and preferences. The Hotel in port blair was average but the one they provided in havelock was amazing. The local team gaurav and santosh were really helpful. We had some troubles on the last day which were immediately solved by our operation executive Lakshya Suthar. The weather conditions became bad on our last two days, we only got to cover 2 beaches in havelock. But other than that, trip was successful!

Good overall experience with Thrillophilia for our Andaman trip. The island transfers were all pre-booked so we never had to scramble at the jetty. Havelock was beautiful. One hotel was a little farther from the beach than we expected but the team sorted it out within a day. Would still recommend for anyone planning Andaman.

We picked Andaman for our honeymoon mainly because we didn’t want a crowded place. What we liked was that we didn’t have to manage anything on the ground. Ferry timings, hotel check-ins, transfers all were already clear. We didn’t have to keep calling or checking. Thank you thrillophilia for this amazing trip.

Radhanagar beach at sunset is something no photograph can capture properly. Hotel was clean and comfor... Read More

Baratang Island is the Andamans at its most raw and untouched - far from the usual Havelock tourist crowd. The boat through dense mangrove forest to reach the limestone caves feels like a proper jungle expedition.

I always thought Andaman wasn’t worth visiting, but after my trip, my perspective has completely changed—it’s definitely worth it.
