Best Things To Do in Singapore

Singapore is a cosmopolitan city-state and is popular for being an “expensive” destination. Well, sadly, that is a truth for tourists to deal with. With the best things to do in Singapore, many of the key attractions here can burn a hole in the pocket. However, everything eventually is going to be worth the experience and of course, the expenditure. For this land is a heady combination of Chinese, Indian, Malay and Western influences, turning to be the purest cultural melting pot. As Singapore’s Changi Airport is one of the most well-connected and widely regarded as the best airport in the world, Singapore meets lakhs of tourists every year who are amazed and captivated by this high-tech island nation. Accommodations in Singapore are expensive when compared to Southeast Asian standards, or actually, by any standard for that matter. But that does not mean you can’t have a budget trip here. Budget travelers usually have three options which are backpacker hostels, BnB, and budget hotels. Choosing one of the mentioned can reduce your cost considerably. In case you are on a budget trip, you can ditch the restaurants for hawkers that offer a wide array of local options at a much lower price.

Likewise, taking the MRT can further help you save some bucks. Now, once you are here...a list of places and activities are going to make it to your “go-to” and “things-to-do” list because Singapore may be small but it is packed with all sorts of sites, attractions, and adventures! Whatever the reason for your traveling is, Singapore has something for you. Shopping, culture, history, food, nature, theme parks...Singapore has them all! The famous Universal Studios Singapore is divided into seven zones, each with its own theme that is based on a popular TV show or a blockbuster film. It is one of the major tourist destinations and the most famous family tourist spot. Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands Skypark, Singapore River Walk, Singapore River Cruise, Chinatown, Little India, iFly Singapore are some of the other top listed tourist attractions of this land.

Pulau Ubin's Puaka Hill

There is more to PulauUbin than just the ChekJewa. This offshore island is an adventure in itself where the kampong heritage is still alive. The Puaka hill trek has been shut to the public until recently after it was readied for hiking and walking. The 3- 4 hours hike to Puakahill is tough due to steep and slippery trails. The trek is comprised of rocky terrain and circled with thick growths of wild ferns where the highest peak is reached at 76 meters. There are 4 different routes to reach the peak.

Highlight: The view at the top is worth the 20 minute steep climb. If you are lucky enough and if the weather is clear then you would be able to view past Changi into the city. However, the absolute sight of the Malaysian border and the glimpse of sun stricken Granite Quarry is definitely a bonus point in the trek.

I and my husband beautifully celebrated our wedding anniversary amidst the lively glimpses of the glittering city in March 2017. We were offered a special boat cruise in Sentosa Island and that made us feel so loved to each other. The sunset was so glamourous while we were floating on the water. Palawan Beach on the shore was aligned beautifully with so many restaurants and bars whereas the crescent shaped Tanjong Beach was comparatively lonely and charming. The whole city looked so fresh and clean and that is the highlight about it. We stayed at Rendezvous Hotel and it was well connected to the city. Cruise to Langkawi Island was an esteemed one and also the Penang cruise in a ship was an unforgettable experience with good quality rooms and services. We are really satisfied with the service and thank you guys for making it amazing holiday on such a short notice.

We went on this honeymoon trip to Singapore in August 2017. This was the first time we went on an organized trip and it turned out to be the best. Very nice arrangements done for our rooms and food. We were transferred to our hotel from the airport and then we went on an Animal Night Safari which was really great. We visited quite a lot of places here. The Sentosa Island was really great. The virtual display of the music, the fountains and the firework show was really great. We also enjoyed the Singapore's Chinatown Trishaw Night Tour and then enjoyed a Chinese dinner which was really awesome. Our visit to Universal Studio was the best, we enjoyed many of the park rides like Battlestar Galactica and Far Far Away Castle. But the best part came when we went for the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, it was scary but really awesome. Loved it totally.

Just came back from our honeymoon from Singapore and can’t wait to share our experience. We had so much fun together and such good arrangements were done for us. We went for the night safari the same day we landed. Our visit to Singapore Flyer was the best highlight of the tour, we saw some of the famous places like Singapore River, Raffles Place, Merlion Park and Empress Place. We enjoyed a candlelight dinner at China town and it was soo good. Food was very good and service was excellent. Well for our rooms they have specially decorated them with rose petals and a bottle of champaign. The views of Singapore and Sentosa were amazing. Our visit to the Universal studio was another best highlight. The 4D movie was fun and the cable car ride was great. We went through Thrillophilia and these guys really did some good work. Thanks a lot.

While searching for destination for my honeymoon vacation I landed on this package of Singapore. I was earlier not sure if we want to go Singapore for our honeymoon but after discussing itinerary over phone call from Rishab me my and my wife got convinced that we should go to Singapore for our honeymoon. We got the detail itinerary over mail and from the moment we landed in Singapore to the last day of our trip everything was perfect. Our trip was well planned and we had some of the best time of our lived in Singapore. On this sightseeing tour we saw lot of beautiful places but Singapore Flyer and Universal Studio are must visit. We didn't even realize how these 6 days passed so fast. Singapore will be always special for me and love to visit it again.

The whole process of booking a Singapore Honeymoon Tour with Thrillophilia was hassle free and their responses were so fast. We both found the nightlife in Singapore dazzling which had a lot of hotels, pubs and glittering skyscrapers looking so vibrant. Also the Tribal Fire Show was amusing. We visited Chinatown, Little India etc for slight shopping and Sentosa Island gave us a lot of wonderful activities like boating, cable car ride and Underwater Museum visit. It was fantastic altogether. The day we had to bid adieu to such a wonderful city was tough. We met a lot of friendly people and there was nothing to worry also.

Singapore is a magical city, yes nothing less than magical was there and our honeymoon trip became the favourite days together for us. Being an architecture I liked the houses and the old buildings with a colonial touch mixed with Asian scenario. We stayed in an elegant room with wood furniture for the whole honeymoon and travelled to the attractions by an upgraded private cab. All the places were unique and with so much inclination to its old traditions. It was a good tour to understand a totally different culture and beliefs of people.

What a great experience. I loved everything about the place, the nightlife, Sentosa Island and most of all Universal Studio. It was so much fun, but the best highlight was the light show at Gardens by the Bay. It was very beautiful. My wife is a foodie so we tasted from various Chinese restaurants and also enjoyed a candlelight dinner which was specially arranged for us.
