Copyright Policy

Last updated: January 20th, 2016

This Copyright Policy governs ownership, use, submission, and enforcement of copyright-protected material used in connection with tours and travel products operated and sold by Thrillophilia.

For the purposes of this policy, “Thrillophilia,” “we,” “us,” “our” or “the Company” refers to Thrillophilia Adventure Tours Pvt. Ltd. “Content” includes, without limitation, itineraries, tour descriptions, hotel details, activity descriptions, images, videos, graphics, audio, presentations, marketing material, metadata, and any other media or information in any form.

1. Ownership of Thrillophilia Content

All content displayed on Thrillophilia’s website, applications, and associated platforms is protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. No visitor or third party may copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, upload, transmit, perform, or create derivative works from any content without prior written consent from Thrillophilia.

Content may be downloaded only where explicitly permitted, solely for personal, non-commercial use, and only if all copyright notices remain intact.

2. Content Supplied by Hotels, Activity Providers & Local Partners

This section applies to hotels, activity providers, homestays, guides, transport operators, and other local service partners contributing to Thrillophilia tours.

2.1 Original Content Requirement

All content provided to Thrillophilia must be:

  • 100% original, and
  • Owned outright by the partner submitting it.

Content must not be copied, adapted, scraped, spun, or derived from other websites, OTAs, marketplaces, brochures, social media, or any digital or physical source.

If similar descriptions exist on your own website or marketing material, you must provide verifiable proof of ownership, and rewrite the content completely (structure, wording, presentation), even if the meaning remains similar. Thrillophilia may assist with rewriting, but ownership responsibility remains with the partner.

2.2 Scope of What You Are Supplying

By providing details of a hotel, activity, homestay, or service, you confirm that:

  • You are the actual provider of that service.
  • You are supplying that service as a component of a Thrillophilia-operated tour.
  • You are not presenting yourself as the tour operator.

Outsourcing or sub-contracting your service to undisclosed third parties is strictly prohibited, unless approved in writing by Thrillophilia.

2.3 Media Ownership (Strict Enforcement)

All images, videos, creatives, slides, and marketing material supplied must be:

  • Owned entirely by the provider, or
  • Created specifically for your business with full transferable rights.

The following are not permitted unless explicitly licensed for commercial resale and sublicensing: stock images, Creative Commons material, AI-generated media, or third-party licensed content. You must be able to produce written proof of rights on demand.

2.4 License Granted to Thrillophilia

By supplying content, you grant Thrillophilia a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, modify, adapt, and display the content for:

  • Tour listings
  • Marketing and advertising
  • PR and brand communication
  • Internal and external promotional use

No attribution is required.

3. Accuracy & Misrepresentation

All content must accurately represent the service being provided. Any mismatch between images and reality, descriptions and actual service, or claims and deliverables will be treated as misrepresentation and may result in:

  • Immediate removal of the service from all tours
  • Termination of the partner relationship
  • Permanent disqualification from future Thrillophilia tours

4. Copyright Violations & Liability

If a copyright violation is reported by a claimant, identified internally by Thrillophilia, or discovered during audit, then:

  • The infringing content will be removed immediately
  • Associated tours may be modified or withdrawn
  • The partner may be permanently removed from Thrillophilia’s network

All legal liability for supplied content rests solely with the partner, not Thrillophilia. Partner details may be shared with the claimant for legal proceedings.

5. Content Exclusivity Period

Textual content created specifically for Thrillophilia tours must not be duplicated elsewhere for 6 months after the tour goes live. You may work with other platforms or clients, but verbatim or substantially similar content reuse is prohibited during this period.

6. Copyright Claims & Takedown Process

6.1 For Copyright Claimants

To report infringement, please provide:

  • Exact URL(s) of the content
  • Identification of the infringing material
  • Proof of copyright ownership, including registration (if applicable), or detailed evidence of authorship and ownership

Incomplete or unverifiable claims will not be acted upon.

6.2 Review Process

Claims are forwarded to the relevant partner. The partner has 7 business days (extendable to 14 upon request) to respond with proof. If proof is not provided:

  • Content will be removed
  • Partner relationship may be terminated

6.3 False or Malicious Claims

Knowingly false or misleading claims may result in legal action by Thrillophilia, including recovery of damages and legal costs.

7. Enforcement Rights

Thrillophilia reserves the right to remove or modify any content at any time, watermark content to prevent misuse, and take final and binding decisions on all copyright matters.

8. Jurisdiction

All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
