Treks in Kullu

Himachal Pradesh is incredibly alluring, which is why it’s so sought-after by travelers. But, perhaps what it’s best known for is its incredible natural landscape which offers the best trekking tours in Kullu. The district of Kullu epitomizes this and it’s no wonder so many flocks here.

It’s a top trekking destination for both novices and experts alike. Meandering streams and lush valleys peppered with hamlets make for a very picturesque escape and trekking through them is an experience that’s hard to match. While there are many trekking routes, some are just more scenic than others and you should add it to your list of things to do in Kullu for a mesmerising experience.

Tirthan Valley is one and exploring the region means more than just walking through it. You get to visit trout fish farms and see how fish farming is done in the small village of Kasol. You also get to camp for the night in Kasol and bask in the tranquillity of the place. Bhrigu Lake is another dreamy destination.

The 4-day trek is a mix of easy and moderate and the meadows you’ll come across on your way here are a treat for anyone. Horses grazing on the green grass with the hills in the distance paint an idyllic picture. If you travel in June, the lake is semi-frozen and the landscape changes to one covered in white. Such a varied landscape with so much to offer; Kullu is a place where trekking dreams come true and if you want to see nature in all its glory, this is where you should head to these places in Kullu.

Plan your trip in winter if you want to cross high mountain passes that are more challenging and take longer to cover. Go in summer if you want to see the land bathed in green. All in all, embark on the best trekking tours in Kullu for a fabulous and exciting experience here.

Excellent
Well trekking on the hilly terrain of himalayas has always been my favourite trekking expedition. Spiti valley trekking has moderate trails and green surroundings. Better To go in summers, during rest of the season this Pin Parvati Pass experiences heavy snow fall so the condition becomes unfavourable for trekking. The exciting trip takes about eleven days, a worth visiting place.

I was expecting a simple trek, but this seemed to be a dicey and challenging one. Most of my co-trekkers seemed to enjoy this and the overall service was good. We got enough time to explore Nagar town. Our base camp was very good and tents and sleeping bags were of very good quality. Amazing part of the trek was jeep ride as it give us opportunity to see beautiful mountains and landscapes.

This is the amazing trek that one can ever take. This trek covers the three major possible treks in The Himalayas and one of the most challenging one. We started from Manali and crossed Kasol before embarking on the trek. For the nest 7-8 days we trekked around 5 hours on an average. Our trek leader was very professional and gave us enough chance to rest in between the trek. Food was very good and hygienic and they also served snacks with tea. Our camping arrangement was excellent. We camped at some of the most beautiful locations. It was an amazing trekking experience in the Himalayas for me and my friends, we enjoyed a lot. Special thanks to the organisers, our trek leader and support staff for making this one of the most memorable adventure of my life.

The entire trekking trail is surrounded by long trees and deodar forests. Even there are some shops for snacking and the 360-degree views of Himalayan Mountain Ranges were worth seeing here. This was not so much a famous trek among people and was quite peaceful during the climb. The climb is a bit steep but when you had Lord Shiva in mind it was nothing. The temple had such a positive atmosphere and it was surrounded by beautiful scenery and one of the best valleys as well. It was like heaven on earth as it was covered by snow most of the time.
