Things to do in Malana

The trek is fun. Although, I would call it expensive, and also that the organizers gave not even 10% discount, the trek was indeed fun and exciting. I just wish this was cheaper.

surprisingly, the people here were quite friendly. However, we ensured we do not encroach their privacy. The village is so peaceful and quaint and amazing in so many ways than one. We wish we stayed her elonger just to enjoy the scenery. It was worth the money we paid.

While, I can go on and on about the trek for hours together, I want to share a short snippet about the most favourite part of this trip for me. Chanderkhani Pass (3650m) to Dadru(3000m) was my favourite part in the trek. This was because the trek is a hardcore trek. It takes around 5-6 hrs. We started with a short walk up to the pass early in the morning. This gave us some really memorable and impressive views that extended from the peaks in the Lahaul to the ones of the Parbati valley on one side and the small hills on the other side. It was absolutely breath taking.

Had an awesome trek here. Very well conducted and professionalism at its best. NOT one thing went wrong and that is really saying something!

The beauty of the Malana trek is that it goes down the meadows and the summer settlements. I had a great trek here. The visit to art gallery, villages, etc were informative as well as fun. I recommend this trek to all of you.

The people of Malana village are rough and tough. It was indeed intimidating to visit them. After trekking up, we visited Rumsu, which is located in Kullu. This trek gets informative and informative. There is the Roerich art Gallery, Nicholas Roerich Art Museum that we visited. Those are situated at Naggar village. We learnt a lot on the rich historicity of Himachal Pradesh villages and culture.

Malana I always knew for 'you know what'! But that it such a good trek as its treasure is something that is a revelation!! Had an absolutely amazing time.The relaxed environment and chilled out people here makes it a worthy place to visit.One of the most "peaceful" treks of the world!!

The beauty of this trek is that it is very easy to perform. The trek to Malana led us through the most beautiful picturesque and very pleasing landscapes. One can witness birch forests, rhododendron bushes, and dense lush meadows throughout the trek. The trek is meant to offer awe-inspiring views. The snow-capped Dhaula Dhar covers the south of the trek; the Hanuman Tibba is at the head of this trek at the Solang Valley. We also came across the Ghalpo peaks in Lahaul. We visited this place in October, and that seemed to be a right time. To take this trek and visit the village, permission must be sought from the villagers.

Malana trek is a beautiful trek that lies a little ahead of the beautiful Chandra Khanni Pass in the tiny village of Malana. While the village is beautiful and an isolated community that had a lots to know about like the fact that they have their own language, customs, and laws, the trek was not that great or unique. This village as such is intriguing and one can visit this village which is governed by a parliament of village elders called Koram. I would have preferred a visit to this village than a trek that was in no way different from other treks in Himachal Pradesh.

Well, Malana has its own reasons for its popularity. Apart from the hippie side this place has amazing trekking places that help you rejuvenate. I loves trekking through green hills and the view from the top is just amazing. The entire village seems like a fairy-tale land and thanks to Bholenath for helping me cover this trekking expedition.
