Every last Friday of the month, the museum presents Vincent on Friday. During this evening performances and activities take place in the museum. Possibly there is music playing in the entrance hall. If you are looking for a quiet visit, these evenings are not so suitable. There is no Vincent on Friday in June, July and August.
The museum welcomes guide dogs fitted with a suitable harness. There is no need to register to guide dogs prior to your visit. Dogs can be walked on Museumplein, which is located next to the museum.
Small items like coats and umbrella can be stored in the museum’s self-service cloakroom.
Photography (without a flash or tripod) is only permitted at certain designated areas in the museum, such as in the Entrance Hall and at the ‘selfie walls’.
Photography of artworks in the museum galleries and exhibition spaces is not permitted.
A first aid room is available at the service desk in the entrance hall of the museum in case of emergency.
Note that the following are not allowed: food, drinks, luggage or large bags
