Starting at Kathgodam, this trip will take you to some of the most amazing locations and visit famous tourist spots.

About the Trek:
Known as one of the most enchanting treks, the Brahmatal trek is a great winter trek for the nature lovers and adventure seekers. You will start this amazing trek from Kathgodam and make your way through some of the beauty of the region. Upon your arrival in Kathgodam early morning, you will be picked from the railway station or bus stand. You will be travelling for 9 hours to reach Lohajung which is 225 KM away from Kathgodam. By late afternoon, you will reach Lohajung where you will be staying at night in a guest house.
On your second day, you will be trekking from Lohajung to Bekaltal. En route, let your eyes enjoy some awe-inspiring views of Nandaghunti Peak. Trek through the forests of oaks and firs. Conclude the 4-5 hours long trek after you reach Bekaltal. The total distance you cover would be 8 km. On your third day, you will trek from Bekaltal to Brahmatal which is another of most beautiful rail for you. The trails go through a forest and when you reach Telindi top, behold the enchanting views of the mighty Himalayas.
On your fourth day, you will be covering from Khabekhal to Bhramtaal to Daldum. You will be treading along the tricky pathways which go through Chota Jhandidar and Bada Jhandidar. This trail is encircled by a mountain ridge with valleys on both sides. Catch the glimpses of magnificent Himalayan Ranges. Mt. Trishul is very close along with the views of Nandhaghunti. On your fifth day, you will be trekking from Brahmatal to Lohajung and trek through the same route. Then on your last and sixth day, you will take the trail from Lohajung to Kathgodam. Kathgodam to Lohajung
Upon your arrival in Kathgodam early morning, you will be picked from the railway station or bus stand.
You will be travelling for 9 hours to reach Lohajung which is 225 KM away from Kathgodam.
By lat afternoon, you will reach Lohajung where you will be staying at night in a guest house.
Lohajung to Bekaltal
Today's trek will start after breakfast. Commence the trip to Bekaltal.
En route, let your eyes enjoy some awe-inspiring views of Nandaghunti Peak.
Trek through the forests of oaks and firs. Conclude the 4-5 hours long trek after you reach Bekaltal. The total distance you cover would be 8 KMs.
Stay overnight in tents.
Bekaltal to Brahmatal
Enjoy the snow covered pathways that let you reach Brahmatal. It will take around 4 hours to complete the trek.
The trails go through a forest and when you reach Telindi top, behold the enchanting views of the mighty Himalayas.
Continue walking to finally arrive in Brahmatal or Khabekhal Lake.
Khabekhal to Bhramtaal to Daldum
Right after breakfast, get ready to climb to the top of Brahmatal.
Tread along the tricky pathways which go through Chota Jhandidar and Bada Jhandidar.
This trail is encircled by a mountain ridge with valleys on both sides.
You will take 2.5 hours to reach Brahmatal Top.
On this journey, revel in the glimpses of magnificent Himayan Ranges. Mt. Trishul is very close along with the views of Nandhaghunti.
From the top, you can revel in the exotic views of snow covered Himalayan Ranges.
Proceed to the next camp site in Daldum and the trek will take up to 3 hours to finish. 2.7 KM will be the distance you would be covering with this trek.
Again, forests will be accompanying you through these trekking trails.
Brahmatal to Lohajung
Today, you will trail back to Lohajung along the same path you took to reach Brahmatal.
Once you reach here, check-in to your guest house and take rest.
Lohajung to Kathgodam
Conclude the trek and depart to Kathgodam early morning.
After your arrival at Kathgodam, your trip comes to an end.

As Brahmatal trek is known as a winter trek, it is best done in the months of January and February. However, during late March and April, the rhododendrons run a riot on this trail. Catch the sight of a variety of the red, pink, white rhododendrons during these seasons.
What is the difficulty level? What kind of physical fitness will be required to do Brahmatal Trek?
The difficulty level is moderate for the Brahmatal trek and you will be covering a total distance of 22km. The Kareri lake trek is considered as an easy to moderate trek with a mix of steep and gradual ascent. But for that, you need to prepare yourself. For this, you can start jogging every day and then do cycling for some time. Always take the stairs without any breaks which will help you to keep fit. Also, start with brisk 10 minutes walk every day and then some physical exercise like stretching. You can also do some yoga every day to regulate your breathing properly.

Also, toilet paper is the advisable instead of wet wipes.
