    This is Dubai’s first cat café. A café where the customers and little feline friends can interact and enjoy. Ailuromania Café has 20 rescue cats who have been selected to live in the café due to their easy-going natures and love of attention. For people who aren’t keen on socializing with the cats, there is a section where you can eat and view the cats from a glass window. If you want the full experience to sit in the cat area, which houses kitties in every nook and cranny imaginable. You can eat here, but bear in mind the cats may jump on your table. The snacks are stored in the non-cat part of the café. If you needed more reason to visit, they have plans to team up with local rescue organisations, to help find unwanted cats new homes.

    Taking its name from the iconic and exclusive peninsula getaway in New York State, The Hamptons Café is one of the latest additions to Jumeirah Beach Road. Located in a very residential-looking white villa, the café shares more than just its name with The Hamptons. Inside, space feels exceptionally, pleasantly domestic, more like a stylish home than a restaurant, while there is also a roof terrace.

     The service is impeccable and fast. Menus are presented on iPads, and the selection is a posh, internationally-inspired café list that ranges from buttermilk fried chicken and East Hampton fish pie through to Moroccan lamb tagine and Thai beef noodle salad. The Hamptons Café serves unique and amazing food that is almost near perfection, this place is definitely worth a try.

  • 14MOKHA Café

    Tucked away in Jumeirah, the cafe has been inspired straight from the heart of coffee, the ancient seaport of Mokha in Yemen.  The Arabic-style decor is cozy and intimate and the communal seating is also reminiscent of the old times when groups gathered together and exchanged stories over coffee.

    The menu is extensive and follows a step-by-step ordering process you begin by choosing your coffee origin and next pick the brewing method.  The five distinct blends include Yemeni Sabri, Ethiopian Amaro Gayo, Ethiopian Geisha, Kenyan Arabia and Guatemalan Asobargi. 

    The brewing options include Syphon, Chemex, Gino Pour Over, Aeropress, and CezveIbrik.  If you are a coffee newbie, don’t stress because each of the techniques is carefully explained on the menu and the staff has extensive knowledge and will happily help you pick a coffee that suits your taste.
