Dubai Holiday Packages from Pune

Reviewed by Thrillophilia Dubai Operations Team

Updated as of June 2026

Dubai from Pune is an easy and popular international escape, with Thrillophilia packages starting at around INR 65,000 to INR 100,000 per person for a 5 to 7-day trip. This usually covers hotels, transfers, and must-do experiences like desert safaris. You can fly from Pune or hop over to Mumbai for more options. Non-stop flights to Dubai take roughly 3-4 hours, while connecting flights can take longer. Overall, it's a quick, convenient journey, which is why many travellers pick Dubai for their first trip abroad from Pune.

The entry process is very straightforward for Indians. A tourist visa typically costs INR 6,000 and can go up to INR 14,000, and is processed within a few days of your documents being placed. These documents mainly consist of passports, recent return tickets, and hotel bookings. Once you land, everything feels smooth and well-organised, from immigration to transport. This is what makes Dubai stand out ,how effortlessly it blends luxury with adventure. You can get to experience the towering skyscrapers, massive malls, and golden desert experiences, all packed in a short, hassle-free trip with Thrillophilia.

How to reach Dubai from Pune

If you are planning your journey from Pune to Dubai, it is very easy with flexible options depending on how you prefer your travel. You can either depart directly from Pune or choose Mumbai for more frequent flights and better airline availability.

Flying from Pune (PNQ)

If convenience is your priority, starting from Pune is a comfortable option, though flight choices are slightly limited compared to the bigger hubs.

  • Direct flights are occasionally operated by Indigo and SpiceJet, which take around 3.5 hours depending on wind and air traffic conditions.
  • Most flights are one-stop options with Indigo or Air India via Delhi, Hyderabad, or Ahmedabad, offering smooth transit connections.
  • Total journey time usually ranges between 7-12 hours, depending on layover duration and route efficiency.
  • Flights generally operate on narrow-body aircraft suitable for short international routes with standard onboard comfort and seating.
  • The departure timings are often late evenings or night, making it easier to arrive in Dubai early morning.
  • Limited weekly frequency means fares can vary, so booking early helps you to secure better prices and preferred schedules.

Flying from Mumbai (BOM)- the popular alternative

Mumbai is the most preferred option for travelers from Pune, thanks to its wide range of airlines, flight timings, and competitive pricing.

  • Multiple daily non-stop flights by Emirates, Air India, Indigo, SpiceJet, and FlyDubai offer both budget and premium travel experiences to travellers.
  • Flight duration is around 3.5 to 4 hours, with departures available almost every hour during peak travel periods.
  • Emirates and Air India provide full-service experiences, including meals, entertainment, and business-class options for added comfort.
  • Indigo and Spice that focus on budget-friendly travel, offering low fares with frequent daily departures
  • Fly Dubai offers a good middle ground option with reliable service and convenient schedules for short-haul international travel.
  • Pune to Mumbai takes about 3-4 hours by road or train, but the better flight options often make travel worthwhile.

Dubai visa requirements for Indian travellers

Travelling to Dubai from India is quite smooth when it comes to visa formalities. Most travellers go for an E-visa in advance, while smaller groups may qualify for a visa on arrival under specific conditions.

Standard UAE E-Visa

For most Indian travellers, applying for a UAE e-visa before departure is the most common and reliable option.

  • Tourist visas are available for 14, 30, or 60 days depending on your travel plans and budget preferences. Visa costs usually range between INR 6,000 and INR 14,000 based on duration and processing speed selected.
  • The required documents include a valid passport, a passport-sized photograph, confirmed return tickets, and hotel booking details.
  • The processing time typically takes three to five working days, though express options are available at an additional cost.
  • The visa is usually single entry, but multiple entry options can be chosen for longer or flexible travel plans, and the validity begins from the date of issue, so the timings of your application are important.

Visa on arrival conditions

Some Indian travellers can skip pre-application and get a visa on arrival in Dubai, but only if they meet specific eligibility criteria.

  • Indian passport holders with a valid US visa, UK visa, or Schengen visa can avail themselves of a visa on arrival in Dubai.
  • The visa or residency permit must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival.
  • Visa on arrival is typically granted for 14 days and can be extended once for an additional fee.
  • Fees are paid directly at immigration counters in Dubai, usually around AED 100-250, depending on extension needs.
  • The immigration officers may ask for return tickets, hotel booking details, and proof of sufficient funds during the entry.
  • The visa on arrival saves pre-planning time but is best used only if you clear all eligibility requirements.

Thrillophilia tip: It is always safer to apply for a UAE e-Visa in advance through a trusted platform, especially during peak travel seasons, to avoid last-minute surprises.
