Bukit Batok Nature Park, Singapore

This park holds historical importance, dating back to World War II. It became the memorial platform for the Japanese soldiers who died during the battle of Syonan Chureito. Established as a park in 1988, this sanctuary has a literal meaning of “Coughing Hills.” Earlier this site was used for quarrying the granite. And therefore, the name emerged. Currently, it spreads over 36-hectares of land in Singapore, making it a popular spot for tourists seeking Singapore travel packages.
