How to Reach Singapore from Mumbai

For a Singapore tour package from Mumbai, flying is the only practical option. You can fly directly from Mumbai and from other major hubs like Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad in 4.5 to 6 hours or take a connecting flight from other cities. In Singapore tour packages from Mumbai, flights are not included unless they are mentioned in the selected Singapore packages from Mumbai.

Nilesh Kulkarni, one of our verified travellers who booked the Singapore Hong Kong and Macau Tour Package, shared in March 2026 that, “Flying in from Mumbai, the skyline at Tsim Sha Tsui felt like home but on a whole different level of scale. The night walks were romantic, and the Symphony of Lights was just stunning. Paresh was very efficient with our airport transfers and bookings.”

Flight Details & Booking

Direct Flight Hubs: Mumbai

Airlines: Singapore Airlines, Air India, IndiGo, and Vistara.

Connecting Flights: If you are departing from another location, you can check options with airlines like Emirates, Qatar Airways, or Malaysia Airlines.

Booking Tips: Round-trip fares typically range from ₹20,000 to ₹30,000. Book 6 to 8 weeks in advance to lock in these rates.

Singapore Tourist Visa for Indian Travellers

Indian travellers planning a Singapore tour from Mumbai need a tourist visa before travelling to Singapore. Moreover, Singapore does not offer a visa on arrival for Indian passport holders.

From 2026, the Singapore visa application fee is approximately INR 2,200 per person and is non-refundable. Visa processing usually takes 3 to 5 working days, so we recommend applying at least 2 to 3 weeks before your travel date to avoid any last-minute stress. Applications must be submitted through authorised visa agents, as direct applications are generally not accepted.

Documents You'll Need

Keep the following documents ready when applying:

  • A valid passport with at least 6 months' validity from your travel date
  • A recent passport-size photograph
  • Confirmed return flight tickets and hotel booking confirmation
  • Bank statements from the last 3 to 6 months
  • Employment letter with approved leave (for salaried travellers) or business registration documents (for self-employed travellers)

SG Arrival Card: A Small Step You Shouldn't Skip

In addition to your visa, every traveller entering Singapore must complete an SG Arrival Card. You can submit it through the ICA website or the MyICA mobile app within 3 days of a Singapore tour package from Mumbai.

Best time to plan a Singapore tour package from Mumbai

The absolute best time to plan a Singapore package from Mumbai is from February to April. During these dry months, you will experience the lowest humidity and the least amount of rainfall, making it perfect for exploring outdoor attractions like the Gardens by the Bay or Sentosa Island.

For a Singapore trip package from Mumbai, timing your trip depends on what you want to prioritise:

Peak Season (November to January & June to July)

Winter (Nov-Jan) is the most popular time to visit. Temperatures hover around 26°C to 31°C. The city is beautifully illuminated for Christmas and Chinese New Year. June and July mark the Great Singapore Sale, drawing massive crowds for retail discounts.

It is the busiest and most expensive time for tour packages from Mumbai to Singapore. Travellers planning trips during these months should book flights and hotels well in advance.

Shoulder Season (February to May)

The shoulder months offer slightly fewer crowds and better hotel value. The weather is marginally drier, making it great for outdoor parks like the Singapore Zoo and Bird Paradise. For families travelling during the Indian summer school holidays (April-May), this is a highly practical time to visit, provided you stay hydrated during afternoon walks.

Low Season (August to October)

Late summer into autumn is technically the low season, with occasional heavy showers and high humidity. However, September brings the Formula 1 Night Race to Marina Bay, which causes hotel prices in the city centre to skyrocket for one specific week. Travelling in August or October generally guarantees the best budget deals for your Singapore trip from Mumbai.

Top Places to Visit in Singapore

Plan your top places to visit in Singapore as per your Singapore tour packages from Mumbai for a smooth and rush-free trip to Singapore from Mumbai.

Vijay Subramanian, one of our verified travellers from Coimbatore who booked the Singapore Wonders | From Heritage Hues to Modern Skylines package, shared in May 2026 that "Singapore is not a large country, but our trip is planned in a way that made the most of every hour. Gardens by the Bay at night when the light show starts is one of those moments that photographs cannot fully do justice to. Jewel at Changi had us standing under the waterfall in silence for several minutes. Night Safari was unlike any other animal experience. Sentosa gave us two full days of joy. Coordinator Adithya was consistently responsive and helpful.”

Marina Bay Sands & The Merlion

The crown jewel of the city's skyline, Marina Bay Sands, features a world-class casino, luxury shopping, and the breathtaking SkyPark Observation Deck that offers panoramic views. Right on the bay, you will find the iconic Merlion Park, home to the half-fish, half-lion statue that is the official symbol of Singapore. Stroll along the waterfront, take in the architecture, and snap those essential vacation photos while exploring your Singapore tour package from Mumbai.

Gardens by the Bay

Just steps away from Marina Bay lies Gardens by the Bay, a sprawling 101-hectare nature park. The attraction is famous for its Supertree Grove, towering vertical gardens that come alive with a spectacular light and sound show every evening. Visitors can also explore the massive, climate-controlled Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest, which features a dramatic indoor waterfall.

Sentosa Island

For thrill-seekers and beachgoers, Sentosa Island is the ultimate hub for a fun family trip or a Singapore honeymoon package. It is home to Universal Studios Singapore, where you can enjoy movie-themed rides and attractions. Beyond the theme park, Sentosa boasts pristine sandy beaches (like Siloso and Palawan), beach clubs, and the massive S.E.A. Aquarium.

Mandai Wildlife Reserve

Singapore is globally celebrated for its open-concept zoos, all located within the Mandai Wildlife Reserve. You can explore the classic Singapore Zoo, get up close to aquatic life and pandas at River Wonders, or experience the unique Night Safari, which allows you to observe nocturnal animals in their naturalistic habitats, if you are planning a Singapore tour package for families.

Vibrant Cultural Districts

To experience Singapore’s diverse heritage, wander through historic neighbourhoods like Chinatown and Little India. In Chinatown, you can visit the stunning Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and feast on authentic, affordable street food at the hawker centres. In Little India, you'll find colourful shophouses, fragrant spice shops, and the 24-hour Mustafa Centre for all your late-night shopping needs.

Best Things to Do on a Singapore package from Delhi

For Singapore tour packages from Mumbai, add these top things to do in Singapore:

Experience Night Safari at Mandai Wildlife Reserve

A night safari at Mandai Wildlife Reserve is a rare wildlife experience that few destinations offer. It is the world’s first nocturnal zoo, where you can explore wildlife after dark through a guided tram ride or just walk through the trails.

View the city skyline on the Singapore Cable Car

The Singapore Cable Car offers one of the most memorable views in the city. It connects Singapore’s main town to Sentosa Island and gives you stunning views of the skyline, harbour and lush greenery. It is also a great way to enter Sentosa Island instead of taking a road trip.

Have fun at Adventure Cove Waterpark

It is not just a regular park but a unique experience, which offers activities like snorkelling with tropical fish or floating along a lazy river. The park is clean and well organised, making it perfect for family trips. It works best as a slow half-day activity between major sightseeing plans. Moreover, a Singapore package from Mumbai might not be enough to include the waterpark, but for a 7-day Singapore itinerary, the waterpark easily fits into your itinerary by offering quite a different experience.

Explore Marine Wonders at S.E.A. Aquarium

S.E.A. Aquarium is one of the largest aquariums in the world and is home to over 100,000 marine animals, from colourful reef fish to massive manta rays and sharks. The main highlight here is the huge glass viewing panel, where you can just sit and watch marine life. It is a great indoor activity and is perfect for travellers who want a break from their daily sightseeing.

Sample Singapore tour packages from Mumbai: Most Booked

The best Singapore packages from Mumbai combine realistic travel pacing with the city's most memorable experiences. These popular Singapore tour package itineraries from Mumbai are designed for different trip lengths.

The Classic Route (5 Days 4 Nights)

First-time international travellers who want to explore major city highlights must go for a 5-day, 4-night Singapore itinerary as a short international trip.

  • Day 1: Arrival in Singapore. Evening visit to the Night Safari for a guided tram ride.
  • Day 2: Half-day city tour covering Merlion Park and Chinatown. Afternoon at Gardens by the Bay (Cloud Forest and Flower Dome).
  • Day 3: Full day dedicated to Sentosa Island. S.E.A. Aquarium in the morning, followed by the Sentosa Cable Car and Wings of Time evening show.
  • Day 4: Full day at Universal Studios Singapore. Evening shopping at Orchard Road.
  • Day 5: Departure from Changi Airport. (Explore the Jewel Changi indoor waterfall before your flight).

Extended Family Discovery (6 Days 5 Nights)

Families with kids wanting theme parks must go for a 6-day, 5-night Singapore itinerary without extreme physical exertion.

  • Day 1: Arrival and rest. Evening Singapore River Cruise at Clarke Quay.
  • Day 2: Sentosa Island exploration. S.E.A. Aquarium and Madame Tussauds.
  • Day 3: Full day at Universal Studios Singapore.
  • Day 4: Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Singapore Zoo in the morning, River Wonders in the afternoon, followed by the Night Safari.
  • Day 5: Leisurely shopping at Mustafa Centre. Evening visit to Marina Bay Sands Skypark Observation Deck.
  • Day 6: Departure.

Premium Cruise Extension (8 Days 7 Nights)

Leisure travellers wanting a mix of city exploration and ocean cruising can go for a balanced 8 days 7 nights Singapore tour package.

  • Day 1 & 2: Singapore arrival. City orientation, Gardens by the Bay, and premium dining at Marina Bay.
  • Day 3: Board the Genting Dream Cruise from the Marina Bay Cruise Centre.
  • Day 4: Cruise Port Day (Penang or Phuket excursion).
  • Day 5: Full day cruising at sea enjoying water slides and theatre shows.
  • Day 6: Disembarkation back in Singapore. Evening Night Safari.
  • Day 7: Sentosa Island highlights (Universal Studios or Adventure Cove).
  • Day 8: Departure to Mumbai.

Thrillophilia Note: Many first-time visitors underestimate the heat and humidity of Singapore. The most enjoyable itineraries focus on mixing indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoor activities. Trying to cover the Singapore Zoo and Universal Studios on the same day will result in physical exhaustion.

The experience for Singapore trip was amazing with thrillophilia. The planning and coordination was really flawless. The representatives and customer care was very co operative in all ways. Even ground co ordination was very well planned we didn't find any hiccups in the whole tour. Only thing we need to do from our part is early communication of any changes and they responded to it on time. We are very happy to choose thrillophilia as our travel friend, we have done both national and international trips and will again come back for more and more. Bon voyage!!!!

Singapore Tours From mumbai FAQs

How much does a Singapore tour package from Mumbai cost?

An average Singapore tour package from Mumbai costs between ₹50,000 and ₹1,20,000 per person, heavily depending on your hotel choice, travel dates, and exact inclusions. Budget-friendly or "land-only" 4-night itineraries usually start around ₹32,500 to ₹40,000 per person, covering accommodation, basic sightseeing, and transfers but leaving out flights. Comprehensive mid-range packages from operators like Thrillophilia or Thomas Cook India range from ₹65,000 to ₹90,000, adding premium highlights like Universal Studios and Marina Bay Sands alongside return flights from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Luxury or multi-country combo packages can easily push expenses upwards of ₹120,000 per person.

Do Indian citizens need a visa to visit Singapore?

Yes, Indian citizens holding ordinary passports must obtain a visa before entering Singapore. Singapore does not offer a visa-on-arrival for Indian nationals, meaning you must apply for an Electronic Visa (e-Visa) via an authorised travel agent prior to your departure. The standard tourist e-Visa typically costs around ₹3,100, allows stays of up to 30 days, and takes 3 to 5 working days to process. The only major exception is the 96-hour Visa-Free Transit Facility (VFTF), which allows entry without a visa if you are transiting through Singapore to a third country and hold a valid visa for nations like the US, UK, or Australia.

What is the ideal duration for a Singapore package from Mumbai?

The ideal duration for a Singapore tour package from Mumbai is 4 nights and 5 days, which allows you to explore the city's iconic landmarks without feeling rushed. This timeline gives you sufficient time to dedicate full days to major attractions like Universal Studios Singapore on Sentosa Island, the futuristic Gardens by the Bay, and the Night Safari. It also leaves open windows for shopping along Orchard Road and sampling diverse street food at local hawker centres. If you wish to include a relaxing 2-night luxury cruise or extend your trip to include neighbouring Malaysia, extending the itinerary to 6 nights and 7 days is highly recommended.

What is usually included in Singapore tour packages from Mumbai?

Standard Singapore tour packages from Mumbai typically include 3-star to 5-star hotel accommodation with daily breakfast and round-trip airport transfers. They feature pre-booked entry tickets to iconic attractions like Gardens by the Bay, Universal Studios Singapore, a half-day city tour, and a Night Safari experience. Mid-range and premium options usually bundle visa assistance and round-trip flights from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM). Most itineraries also offer shared or private air-conditioned vehicle transfers between your hotel and the scheduled sightseeing spots for a hassle-free vacation.

What is the best time to visit Singapore from Mumbai?

The best time to visit Singapore from Mumbai is during the dry season between December and June, when the city experiences the least amount of rainfall and lower humidity levels. This period offers ideal weather for exploring outdoor attractions like Sentosa Island, walking through Gardens by the Bay, and shopping during the Great Singapore Sale. Travelling between January and February also allows you to experience vibrant cultural celebrations like Chinese New Year. While Singapore is a year-round destination, avoiding the peak monsoon months of November to December ensures your sightseeing plans face fewer disruptions from sudden tropical downpours.

Is Singapore expensive for Indian travellers?

Yes, Singapore is considered a relatively expensive destination for Indian travellers, primarily due to the higher value of the Singapore dollar (SGD) against the Indian rupee (INR). Accommodation, alcohol, and fine dining can quickly drain your budget, making hotel stays significantly costlier than in neighbouring countries like Thailand or Malaysia.
