  • 27Kuta Beach

    You can reach here from the airport using a prepaid taxi. The Ngurah Rai International airport also called the Denpasar International Airport is situated just south of Kuta. Therefore reaching Kuta beach is easiest from there – it takes only 15 minutes in a cab. It will cost you Rp. 50,000 to go from airport to this beach.

    It is situated in the North part of Bali – just west of Singaraja (the capital city of Buleleng Regency).  It is easier to find on Google maps. Cabs are easily accessible to and from this place.

    This is a black sand beach. You can go to this place in the early morning for watching dolphins. Most people enjoy the sunset at Kuta and the sunrise at Lovina beach. There are not many other things to do around here because it has a “no swim” zone.

    The official address of this beach is Jalan Labuansait No. 73, Pecatu, South Kuta, Badung Regency. There is no public transport around this place except the taxi but it is very easy to avail a private vehicle on this beach. The best way to get to this beach is by using a private transport such a motorcycle or a car which are available for rent.  The parking costs for one bike or car is IDR 2000 or 5000.  

    It is called the “Pantai Labuan Sait” locally and is yet again, one of the popular surf spots in the area. It is famous for the shooting of the film “Eat Pray Love.” There is an entrance fee of IDR 20 for two people.

    It is situated in Northwest Bali. The nearest landmark would be Mount Agung. You can hire a private chartered car to reach here. The exact address is Jl. Raya Besakih, Karangasem. Besakih Temple is about 1000 years old and it is situated at 1000 meters altitude above the sea level, right on the southwestern slopes of the mountain Agung.

    Also known as the floating temple, it is located near the mountains of Bedugul. It is in the Candi Kuning Countryside and is about 50 kilometers towards the north of the way from Denpasar town. Any car or cab can take you there because it is well connected with the main road. 

    The Ulun Danu Temple sits right atop the Bratan Lake and the overall view is breathtaking from   here. It is an important landmark. There are no entry fees here. However, certain online portals might ask you to book a package tour. The starting prices are around Rs. 6500.

    The exact location of this place is in Pecatu Village which lies in the Kuta subdistrict, Badung regency. It is just 25kms to the south of Kuta. To reach here, you have to take the bypass main road towards Nusa Dua to Jimbaran and then just follow the hilly road towards Uluwatu. There are no entry fees to enter the religious temple.

Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple, or Pura Luhur Uluwatu, one of six fundamental temples thought to be Bali's holy pillars, is famous for its majestic location, rested on top of a sheer cliff approximately 70 metres above sea level. This temple also yields the marvelous sunset backdrops as that of Tanah Lot Temple located on the island's western shores. This temple is unquestionably one of the top points on the island to enjoy the stunning sunset delight, with uninterrupted views overlooking the gorgeous Indian Ocean.
Balinese structure, traditionally-designed gateways and antiquated sculptures add to Uluwatu Temple's appeal.
Without an uncertainty, what makes Uluwatu Temple spectacular is its cliff-top environment at the end of a plateau 250 feet above the waves of the Indian Ocean. Several archaeological relics found here confirm the temple to be of megalithic origin, dating back to the 10th century. There are two entrances to Uluwatu Temple, from the south and the north.

Timings: The visiting hours for the temple is from 9 AM to 6 PM. As a place of worship, however, it is open 24 hours daily.

How to Reach: Take the bypass main road to Nusa Dua and to Jimbaran and then follow the ascending road up to Uluwatu.

Lake Batur (Danau Batur)

Another precious attraction in Kintamani which is a must visit for you is the famous Lake Batur(Danau Batur). Take in the crisp mountain air and majestic scenes of Lake Batur (Danau Batur) a crescent shape waterway in the shadow of an active volcano. Mount Batur sits at the focal point of a huge caldera- - a pit like bowl shaped by volcanic action - of which the lake fills the southeastern side. Lovina Beach

Lovina Beach is a blend of littler shorelines crossing a few nearby towns between two areas in the North Bali rule of Buleleng.
