Serangan Island Overview

Turtle Island, another name of Serangan Island in Bali is located near to Denpasar around 10 km distance away and why it got the name related to turtles because it is considered to be one of the important nesting ground for green sea turtles. Since the emergence of turtle conservation, the consumption of turtle meat and the use of the creatures during ceremonies were decreased. Another feature of the island lies in the beautiful Sakenan temple situated on the western edge of the island.
