Bali Holiday Packages from Delhi

Reviewed by Thrillophilia Bali Operations Team

Updated as of May 2026

Bali tour packages from Delhi start at INR 27,800 per person for a 5-day trip, often exploring areas like Ubud and Kuta, and can range up to INR 60,000+ for longer stays with premium inclusions. With Delhi’s traffic and unrelenting heat, a 7.5-hour direct flight to Bali is the easiest route for a week-long escape from your daily hustle.

Bali is a multi-cultural, spiritual city that draws you in with the nature of Ubud, the black sand of Canggu, and the cliffside sunsets of Uluwatu. While rooted in Balinese Hinduism, Bali offers a deeply spiritual experience that provides a complete change of scenery and pace from that of Delhi. But that’s not all Bali is known for. With private villas and lively nightlife at beach clubs like Finns Beach Club and Potato Head Beach Club, Bali is known for its accessible luxury, making it the perfect international destination for backpackers and families alike. To genuinely experience everything that Bali has to offer, you need an itinerary that doesn’t restrict you to basic tourist spots but actually reflects your needs and preferences.

Thrillophilia’s Bali tour packages from Delhi are crafted with 10+ years of experience in putting the traveller before the destination. With 27,000+ verified reviews and 900+ reviews from Delhi travellers alone, our Bali tour packages from Delhi are designed to focus on transparency and comfort. We craft your itinerary by dividing Bali by the experiences it provides and matching them with the experience you seek. By including AI along with our locally coordinated expert team, we produce logistically insightful packages made unique to every Delhi traveller's needs and preferences.

Bali Package Inclusions

  • Accommodations: All your accommodations are provided based on your budget preferences and are centrally located with easy access to transfer hubs and markets. We further make sure that every private pool accommodation listed in our catalogue is verified beforehand for its privacy structure and amenities.
  • Transfers: Airport and sightseeing transfers as mentioned in your itinerary are always included in our Bali tours from Delhi. We ensure English-speaking, licensed chauffeurs to prevent any miscommunication during the trip.
  • Daily Breakfasts: We always provide daily breakfast at every hotel you stay at in Bali. Additionally, we provide you with a list of vegetarian and Indian restaurants located close to your hotels.
  • Expert Consultation: Prior to your package booking and itinerary confirmation, we connect you with a Bali expert who helps you understand how to make your trip better. We provide practical route insights and added experiences, and help you figure out which Bali zones you should focus on according to your preferences.
  • 24/7 On-Trip Assistance: All our packages provide 24/7 assistance via a locally coordinated expert team, along with online support. In case of any issues on your Bali trip from Delhi, don’t hesitate to contact us immediately to get a solution within a minimal waiting time.

How to Reach Bali from Delhi

Being from Delhi, travelling to Bali is already convenient for you with direct, regularly operational flights, operated primarily via Air India. You can also opt for longer connecting flights with layovers in cities like Singapore, Bangkok, or Kuala Lumpur.

Direct Flight from Delhi to Bali

  • Departure Airport: Indira Gandhi International Airport
  • Arrival Airport: I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS)
  • Duration: 7.5-8 hours
  • Flight Fare: INR 24,000-35,000+ per person, depending on the season and time of booking
  • Operating Airlines: Primarily Air India as of May 2026

Know Before You Book Your Flight:

Airlines like IndiGo, VietJet Air, AirAsia, Malaysia Airlines, and Singapore Airlines offer connecting flights from Delhi to Bali via layover cities like Singapore, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur. The round-trip fare ranges from INR 25,000 to 50,000+, depending on the airline, season, and time of booking and takes around 10-15 hours to reach.

Why We Don’t Recommend It: Some connecting routes via Malaysia or Thailand might impose that country’s visa or entry regulations, especially for long layovers. Direct flights completely prevent that. Additionally, you get to save over 7 hours via direct flights, reducing jet lag and travel fatigue. Travelling via connecting flights ends in wasting a whole day when you could be spending leisure time in Ubud.

  • For the cheapest flight prices, book at least 2-3 months in advance, more if you’re planning on visiting in peak season. Late May to June usually offers lower flight pricing. Use a tracking app to get notified for significant price drops.

How to get Visa on arrival (VOA)

Bali offers a visa on arrival for Indian passport holders valid for 30 days, extendable once for another 30 days. Visit Indonesia’s official e-VoA website to stay updated on recent rules and requirements. With an application fee of approximately INR 8,000, you require a passport valid for 6+ months, a return/onwards ticket, a clear-background passport-sized photograph, accommodation proof, and proof of funds. It takes a processing time of up to 5 working days.

It is also mandatory to complete the ‘Electronic Customs Declaration’ (ECD) online before your arrival in Bali.

Thrillophilia’s tour packages from Delhi to Bali include visa support for all travellers.

Best Time to Visit Bali Trip from Delhi:

Peak Season (April to October)

With a temperature of 26°C to 30°C, April to October sees clear and cool weather with lower humidity. This is the perfect season for all outdoor sightseeing activities, especially watersports. The hotels and flights have inflated pricing during this time due to increased demand.

  • Seasonal Festivals: Galungan & Kuningan (occur every 210 days), Bali Arts Festival (June–July), Ubud Food Festival (May–June)
  • Best For: First-time travellers, outdoor-heavy itinerary, beach and sea enthusiasts

Shoulder Season (March and November)

This window in Bali sees a mix between short bursts of rain and gradually increasing humidity, with a temperature of 26°C to 31°C. The crowd is thinner, with hotels offering a 10-30% discount due to decreased demand. If you take some basic precautions for rain and plan your itinerary with a balance between outdoor and indoor activities, this is the best value window to plan a Bali trip from Delhi.

  • Seasonal Festivals: Nyepi (March, Bali shuts down completely for 24 hours, including the airport) and Galungan (210-day cycle)
  • Best For: Solo travellers, couples, nature lovers (greener landscapes due to rain)

Low Season (December to February)

This is the peak monsoon season of Bali, with a temperature of 25°C to 31°C with frequent bursts of heavy rainfall, mostly during the afternoon/evening. This leads to a rich, green landscape all over the country, especially in Ubud. The crowd is very low, and the hotel prices are low except during the holiday weeks. However, the humidity can feel intense at times, and the seas don’t have suitable conditions for snorkelling/diving.

  • Seasonal Festivals: Christmas & New Year's Day, Chinese New Year (Jan/Feb)
  • Best For: Budget-friendly traveller, backpackers, an indoor-heavy itinerary

Thrillophilia Note: The Bukit Peninsula is one of the best destinations for surfing, swimming and enjoying beautiful landscape views. However, this is also one of the most dangerous coastal zones in Bali during the wet season, peaking from December to February. It experiences conditions like rough seas, strong currents, strong coastal winds, and 2.5-4m waves during alert windows. This can lead to surf hazards and landsliding risks. Expect to be delayed or restricted during your window in this period due to safety concerns.

Best Places to Visit On Your Bali Trip From Delhi

1. Bali Swing

This is one of the most popular attractions of Ubud in Bali. With Bali’s greenery, waterfalls, jungles, and rice paddies surrounding you, you swing at a height of 33-256 m. With a long dress, flowing with you as you swing high, a safety harness is attached to you for your safety. This is one of the best ways to enjoy the scenic views of Bali.

  • Best Swings for the “Long Dress’ Rental Service: Happy Swing Bali, Official Bali Swing (Bongkasa), various spots at Tegalalang Rice Terrace
  • Swing package Cost: INR 1,500-3,000 per person, with additional INR 1,000-1,500 for professional photography

2. Ubud Monkey Forest

Here you get to watch over 700 grey macaques as they swing around and eat bananas in their natural habitat. You can also explore ancient temples like Pura Dalem Agung surrounded by trees. This is a quiet, holy spot that slows you down from the usual pace of your Bali trip.

  • Ubud Monkey Forest Entrance: INR 450-550 approximately per adult

3. Uluwatu Temple

Located 70 metres above water, this temple lets you explore the history of Bali with its artefacts, Balinese buildings, and 10th-century archaeological remains. For a unique experience, you can watch the Kecak Fire Dance during sunset on your trip to Bali from Delhi.

  • Uluwatu Temple Entrance: INR 260-320 per adult. The Kecak Fire Dance adds an additional INR 475-700. Tickets are purchased with local currency at the gate.

4. Kuta Beach

If you are fond of surfing or maybe just like to enjoy local food culture, pay a visit to Kuta Beach. It's known for its surfing opportunities and also offers a glimpse into the daily lives of the local people going about their days in this fishing village. You will find an abundance of resorts, eateries, and bars in this region, making for a great nightlife and accommodation choice.

  • Kuta Beach Surfing: INR 1,200-2,500 per person for a 2-hour beginner lesson; the board rental alone costs around INR 550 per hour.

5. Tanah Lot

Bali is a destination rich with folklore and cultural stories that define its past. The Tanah Lot Temple statues take you back with their visual storytelling as you explore their various forms and figures. The temple is situated on rocks in the water and provides you with beautiful open-ocean visuals, especially during the sunsets.

Tanah Lot Temple Entrance: INR 300-400 per international traveller. A parking fee of INR 15-30 might apply.

We went to Bali from Delhi for a short holiday and it was honestly a really good experience. Life in Delhi gets hectic, so we just wanted a place where we could relax and enjoy without too much planning stress. Bali was perfect for that. The beaches, cafés, local markets, and overall vibe were just amazing. What I liked most was that the trip felt smooth and easy. We were not running around trying to cover everything. There was enough time to actually enjoy the place. Overall, it was a refreshing break from daily routine. Good memories, good food, and a lot of quality time. Definitely a trip worth taking.

Direct flights from DEL to DPS take around 7.5 hours, primarily operated by Air India. Connecting flights via Singapore, Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur take 10-17 hours, depending on the layover.

Do Indians get a visa on arrival in Bali?

Yes, Indian passport holders can get a VoA at the Bali Airport for around INR 8,000. It is primarily 30 days, extendable once for another 30 days (total 60 days), and the online ECD submission is mandatory before your Bali arrival.

Should I choose Ubud or Seminyak for my honeymoon?

Ubud is a forest-orientated destination with private pool villas and wellness activities. Seminyak provides you with a beachfront experience, including sunset beach clubs and luxury shopping. Most of our Mumbai couples choose to split their stay in both destinations.
