Ask any Punekarand they will tell you that they have been to
Lonavala at least once in their lives! Just a couple of hours away from the
city, it can easily be reached by the old Mumbai-Pune Highway or the new

Lonavala. Decorated by beautiful hills and mountains of the Western Ghats,
Lonavala in the rains looks like a painting with its misty valleys, green trees
and blooms of every kind!
While here you can enjoy gorgeous views from the vast hills
like Tiger Point, Sunset Point and other rocky outcrops. You can also enjoy the
refreshing gardens of the Ryewood Park and ShivajiUdyan. Lush and expansive

feature of the landscape is a huge black rock ridge called the Duke’s Nose, as
itresembles the outline of a nose.
