About The Broads National Park

With a total area of 188 square miles, The Broads National Park is the largest protected wetland in Britain and a perfect display of nature and its perseverance. The broad National Park was formed by three rivers, the Bure, Yare & Waveney, and its 40 tributaries. The landscape of the surrounding in this place is made up of drained marshland, fens, and also the wet woodlands known as the “carr woodland.”

Excellent wildlife and conservation are one of the superior features in this Park. The Broads National Park is also home to 28 SSI (sites of particular scientific interest), an RSPB reserve, and nine national nature reserves.
