Bradford Alhambra Overview

The Alhambra, the top performing theatre of the North presents the top and wide range of entertainment including international musicals and dance, the biggest panto of Yorks, and drama. It was opened in Bradford in 1913 and is named in honor of Granada’s Alhambra palace. Alhambra theatre was inaugurated on March 18, 1914, and was constructed for approximately £20,000.

Francis Laidler, a prominent local impresario, was the inspiration behind the jewel of Bradford's crown, “Alhambra Theatre.” It has a varied and wonderful history that spans the golden era of theatre from 1980s refurbishment until the present.

It also has a performance based on sign languages, captioned performance, and audio-described ones. It is amongst the best places to visit in Bradford, consisting of international shows that can be attended by anyone but not for children below the age of 2. They have special performances for participant children who are below the age of two years and can also follow after getting a ticket for themselves.
