Penshaw Monument

Penshaw Monument is a gorgeous monument in Sunderland, which is a fifty percent replica of the Hephaestus Temple in Athens that can be witnessed even from a far distance. This 70-feet high monument is a much-loved landmark in Sunderland as it showcases remarkable views from the top of the hill. The Penshaw Monument allows you to breathe in some fresh air and catch a glimpse of the beautiful views of the North Pennines and Durham Cathedral.
