Bradford Cathedral Overview

A historical place of prayer and peace since the 7th century, situated in a lush green setting in the middle of a busy town, this is a hidden gem worth discovering. The structure tells two different stories: the story of Bradford and the story of Christianity from the times of Anglo-Saxons. It stood by the heart of Bradford even in its growing time, connecting to the people in times of celebration, sorrow, peace, and war.

Beautiful textile, wood, glass, and bronze works can be found inside the Cathedral. In addition, it contains sculptures by John Shaw, Alan Collins, and Flaxman, as well as embroidery and bronze by Ernest Sichel. The Cathedral is a work of art, made even more appealing by a diverse series of events and exhibitions.

The place is one on the list of best tourist attractions in Bradford, where visitors can go to pray, wander around their latest exhibitions of art, explore the heritage and architecture of this building or simply enjoy the calmness of the grounds and buildings. Their people have a warm welcome planned for the visitors irrespective of their visiting reason.
