Ocean Studios

Ocean Studios is located in the centre of Royal William Yard, on the banks of the Tamar estuary and is one of the unique tourist places to visit in Plymouth. The Royal William Yard's recognisable tall stone walls, which were built between 1825 and 1831, were once a military triumph but are now a gem in Plymouth's historic crown. Ocean Studios is part of the Real Ideas campus (which includes the Devonport Guildhall and Market Hall), and home to many creative projects in the city. Large-scale murals painted by skilled southwest artists can be found in the courtyard.

Discover frequently changing exhibitions, a retail area with locally made prints, gifts, and jewellery, and a really good cup of coffee inside the Real Ideas Café and Exhibition space.
