Explore Limestone Caves
Limestone caves are located in the Baratang Island of Middle Andaman and are a day-long excursion. After reaching the Baratang Island, you need to take a half an hour boat ride passing through mangrove creeks and stopping at Nayadera Jetty. After getting off the boat, you need to walk for a kilometre and half through the winding tropical forest trails.

The formation and unique structures in the limestone caves are made of calcium carbonate. The massive sedimentary limestone formations are a result of compression over centuries and millenniums of the gradual deposits of ingredients such as shells, skeletons, and corals etc. The entire route from Baratang Jetty to  Nayadera jetty is very captivating.

Before you visit Andaman Islands you must go through the travel guide of Andaman.
