Spiti Weather ( Season Wise Guide)
Spiti in Summer

Spiti in Monsoon

But global warming has changed a lot of this, and in the last few years, the Spiti Valley has seen many instances of cloudburst, followed by overcast weather and heavy downpour going on for days. But these instances are rare, and most of the time, there is next to no rainfall in the region. However, this is only applicable to Spiti Valley - to be precise, the area between Puh and Batal. If you are starting your journey from Shimla, you will have to face rain in the monsoon season until Kinnaur valley, Manali and Rohtang Pass.
Spiti in Winter

Spiti Weather (Month Wise Guide)
January – February – March

April to May

This is because most of the snow from winters melts off during these months, the roads connecting the valley to the rest of the country open up, and you can actually participate in the outdoor activities during this time.
Average Rainfall: 70 mm
June to July

However, it is best to get out of the valley as the last week of July approaches, because torrential rainfalls can easily lead to blockage of road transport and cancelled flights. As a result, you may be stuck in the valley if you stay till the end of July.
August

Due to the heavy rains, avalanches and landslides occur every other day on these roads. That is why, it is not safe to travel to the valley in this month.
