From there, you have the option to catch a connecting flight to Kullu-Manali Airport (Bhuntar), which is about 250 kilometres from Kaza. Bhuntar is served by Air India, Alliance Air, and sometimes IndiGo during the travel season. You can then take a taxi or local bus to Manali and continue towards Spiti.

By Train: Take a train from Howrah or Sealdah to Chandigarh or Kalka. Trains like the Howrah-Kalka Mail (12311) and Howrah-Delhi Rajdhani Express (12301) are commonly used. From Kalka, you can ride the Kalka-Shimla toy train and continue by road to Spiti. Train journeys may take around 30 to 36 hours.

Spiti Revisited - This Time with My Favorite Person & Thrillophilia 💙 Although I had visited Spiti once before solo, this time I wanted a hassle-free and well-organized experience, especially because I was finally returning to my favorite place with my favorite person. So, my boyfriend and I started looking for group travel options and came across Thrillophilia’s 8 Days Spiti Group Tour (Delhi to Delhi). Booking it was one of the best decisions we made! 🗺️ Change in Plans? Even Better! While Chandratal was originally part of our itinerary, unpredictable weather led to its cancellation. At first, we were disappointed, but Thrillophilia did... Read More

A dream come true in the dreamland of Spiti. “Spiti” the middle land bared herself in front of us in her myriad colours, towering needle-pointed peaks, waterfalls cascading down the rocky walls, little patches of green surrounded by the wilderness of barrenness, roads cutting across avalanches and glaciers peeking through snow-covered peaks, yaks, sheep and horses grazing the grasslands around Chandratal; Spiti looked like the brushstrokes of a painter. Thrillophillia executed this adventure trip to perfection, leaving no scope for complaint. A heartfelt thanks to our Tour Guide, Ms Neetima, and our pilot, Mr. Rakesh, with his extraordinary ... We had a fantastic Spiti road trip with Thrillophilia. The driver was very patient with our frequent photo stops. Coming from Kolkata, the dry mountain air was a change, but the views of the Himalayan peaks were absolutely majestic. Truly a soulful experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a deep connection with nature.

Traveling from Kolkata to the remote corners of Spiti was an adventure of a lifetime. Thrillophilia managed the logistical challenges of the high altitude really well for us. The Pin Valley National Park was a highlight—so serene and untouched. The local culture and the hospitality of the villagers made this trip feel very personal and warm.

The rugged charm of Spiti is absolutely unmatched. Each village we visited had its own unique character and story. The road trip is quite an adventure, with some of the most dramatic scenery I've ever seen in my life. It’s a great place to disconnect from the digital world and enjoy nature. Thrillophilia’s coordination was excellent from the very first day.

Spiti Valley's beauty is hard to put into words. Our group from Kolkata loved the monastery visits. Thrillophilia ensured our stay in Kaza was comfortable and the food was decent. It’s a long way from home, but every kilometer was worth the view. The contrast between the lush greenery and the high-altitude desert was simply mind-blowing.

We took the Delhi-Manali-Spiti-Manali-Delhi trip in July '24 with Thrillophillia. Even though the trip was affected by the diverse weather conditions in Manali, Thrillophillia provided excellent services and facilities due to which we did not feel any hassle during our entire trip even with the rerouting. They took care of everything from hotels to food to transport and everything else. The Operations team(Rahul) were always in touch with us and helped us in any way we needed. The guide, Tenzing ji was also extremely helpful and knowledgeable and cool too. Special shout out to the person who calmly and confidently steered us along the sha... Read More
