How To Reach

Reaching Tabo Caves offers an adventure through some of India's most stunning landscapes, accessible from June to October. Outside these months, the routes close due to monsoons and winter snowfall.  

By Car

Driving to Tabo Caves presents a breathtaking journey. From Manali, the 230.2-kilometre drive via Kunzum Pass takes about 8 to 10 hours. Alternatively, the route from Shimla spans 465.6 kilometres, taking roughly 14 to 16 hours through the scenic Kinnaur Valley.

By Bus

For those preferring public transport, buses to Tabo Caves are available from both Manali and Shimla. While private buses offer a more comfortable journey, you can also take the HRTC (Himachal Road Transport Corporation) buses to get to Tabo.
