Manali To Spiti Valley Bike Trip Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Chandigarh

    Arrive in Chandigarh by noon by either air, rail, or road.

    Meet your team and your co-riders at the hotel.

    The road captain will brief everyone on the route and the day-wise plan.

    After the briefing, you will get a Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle that you will be riding for the rest of the tour.

    Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 2 - Chandigarh to Narkanda (174 KM)

    Start early to beat the traffic out of Chandigarh and head towards the Himalayas on the Himalayan Expressway.

    Towards Chail, a hill station in the lower Himalayan range, home to beautiful flower orchards.

    After a lunch break, we head on towards Narkanda, known as the fruit bowl of Himachal Pradesh.

    Apple and cherry trees abound the roadside, and the tall Deodhar fir trees spread their heady aroma all around.

    End the day's ride at a hotel in Narkanda.

  • Day 3 - Narkanda to Chitukul (183 KM)

    Wake up early morning to experience one of the most beautiful sunrises.

    Early morning, after breakfast we will leave for one of the most beautiful views of Kinnaur Valley.

    It is the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border.

    Overnight stay and dinner at hotel/homestay.

  • Day 4 - Chitukul to Kalpa (60 KM)

    After breakfast, we will leave for Kalpa which is the only away and reach Kalpa by afternoon.

    Drive to ReoKong Peo main town of Kinnaur district after visiting Chitkul.

    Spend the night in the beautiful Kalpa village overlooking Kinnaur Kailash mountains.

    Overnight stay at Camp/Homestay in Kalpa.

  • Day 5 - Kalpa to Kaza (198 KM)

    After an early breakfast, leave for Kaza.

    En-route Indo-Tiber highway and experience the Khab- Confluence of Spiti and the Satluj River.

    Stop at the Nako Lake and have lunch and after lunch cross Nako and enter Spiti valley right after you cross Sumdo.

    Take a detour from here to visit the 500-Year-Old Mummy in the Gue Village.

    Head to Kaza for dinner.

    Overnight stay at the hotel in Kaza.

  • Day 6 - Kaza Sightseeing: Hikkim – Komik – Langza (48 KM)

    Post early morning breakfast, take your bike out today to explore the spectacular beauty of Kaza.

    Visit the tourist spots including the Key Gompa monastery that is nestled between the mountains in a bowl shape, in the small village Langza of Spiti valley.

    This village is at a whopping height of about 14,500 ft above sea level and also considered to be one of the highest villages in the world with a motorable road and Komic is the highest village with a road another location, Hikkim is a village in the Spiti district, close to Kaza which is one of the highest year-round inhabited locations in India.

    Have a delicious overnight stay at a hotel.

  • Day 7 - Kaza - Kunzum La - Chadra Tal

    The motorbike expedition moves to the next location on our maps is the beautiful crescent-shaped Chandra Tal lake.

    The beauty of this place is spectacular parking here is available two kilometres away from the lake.

    The lake is situated in the Spiti part of the Lahaul and Spiti district and is also called “moon lake”.

    It is overlooked by the mountains on one side and a cirque on the other. after sunset, it is a beauty to behold.

    Enjoy dinner at camps under a starry sky.

    Overnight stay at Chandra Tal.

  • Day 8 - Chandra Tal to Manali (150 KM)

    Today the Spiti ride will start riding back to Manali, on the way we will cross Rohtang pass and reach Manali by the evening.

    Once you check into the hotel, your bikes will be collected back and this is the end of your motorbiking expedition.

    Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 9 - Manali to Chandigarh (307 KM)

    Today start our ride from Manali after breakfast and end in Chandigarh by evening.

    End of Spiti Road Trip Expedition.

  • It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 60 litres as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc.

  • Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.

  • Do not park your bike anywhere on the way. Any damage that occurred due to negligence will be borne by the rider.

  • Check your bikes properly before every day's ride and keep the tour guide informed of the same.

  • Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants during the rides.

  • Any fuel for the bikes, any charges for spares parts and damage caused to the bikes, etc. will be charged at extra.

  • Any charges for video cameras, still cameras, etc. will be an additional cost.

  • During a bike trip, in case the roads are blocked due to landslides or a reason that is beyond control, Thrillophilia will rearrange the itinerary for the travellers real-time, however, the cost of alternative accommodation will be borne by the customer as the hotels pre-booked execute their cancellation policies and are nonrefundable.

  • In case a rider leaves the bike in the middle of the trip, charges for re-transporting the bike to the destination will be borne by the rider.

  • While riding on a bike, it is advised to carry luggage in rucksacks/backpacks instead of trolleys or suitcases as they generally get damaged due to driving on tough terrains.

  • There will be a refundable security deposit per bike depending on the variant selected. Please ensure you pay that in advance and carry the receipt with you at all times to get a refund later.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
