Day 1
Departure from Delhi to Shimla | A Beautiful Town Encapsulated by Magical Misty Hills
Delhi
  • Once you reach Delhi, you will have to proceed towards your boarding point of an AC Volvo Bus for the overnight journey from Delhi to Shimla.
Day 2
Shimla to Rakcham | Enjoy a Scenic Drive through the Apple Orchards
Rakchham
  • Upon reaching Shimla in the morning, freshen up and get transferred to Rakcham.
  • Drive past the quaint town of Kufri, known for hosting a number of winter sports like skiing and much more.
  • As you Hit NH5 pass through the apple-scented town of Narkanda.
  • Take a short stopover at the Kinnaur Caves and collect memories in the form of photographs.
  • Travel along the Sutlej river till Karcham from where you will take a right turn towards Rakcham following the Baspa river.
  • Reach Rakcham, where the landscape will greet you with apple orchards, thick pine and apricot trees, lush green meadows with occasional pink stretches of local millet.
  • Check in to the hotel and rest for the day.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Rakcham.
Day 3
Rakcham to Kalpa | Spot Sacred Shivling Rock atop Kailash Mountain
Kalpa
  • Wake up to a beautiful festive morning in the mountains.
  • After having a hearty breakfast, get ready to celebrate the festival of colours - Holi.
  • Celebrate Holi by playing with colours and relishing your taste buds with some sweets.
  • Indulge in an outdoor picnic lunch while soaking in the vistas of the snow-clad mountains.
  • Later, begin your transfer to Kalpa.
  • You will be riding back towards Karcham from where you will proceed deeper into the valley towards Powari.
  • At Powari, take a left to Reckong Peo, which is the main town of the Kinnaur district from where you will proceed to Kalpa.
  • Spend the night in the beautiful Kalpa village overlooking the Kinnaur Kailash mountains.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at a homestay in Kalpa.
Day 4
Kalpa to Kaza | Explore the Ajanta of Himalayas
Kaza
  • After early morning breakfast, you will be leaving for Kaza passing through the beautiful Spiti Valley.
  • En route, you will be taking the Indo-Tiber Highway and pass through the Khab Bridge that marks the confluence of Spiti and the Satluj River.
  • Pass through Ka Loops, a series of hairpin bends offering scenic views.
  • Enjoy an outdoor picnic Maggie session in the mountains, soaking in the surrounding views.
  • Visit the Tabo Monastery which is also regarded as the 'Ajanta of the Himalayas' and is the oldest continuously operating Buddhist enclave in both India and the Himalayas.
  • Later, proceed to Kaza and rest for some time.
  • Spend the rest of the time interacting with the Lamas over a cup of tea.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in a homestay in Kaza.
Day 5
Kaza to Chicham | Walk Artistically Painted Rooms at Key Monastery
Chicham
  • Wake up in the morning and enjoy a hearty breakfast.
  • Today, Visit the iconic village of Langza - that is home to the 1000 year old Lang Temple and later go fossil hunting in the village and take back souvenirs in the form of million years old marine fossils.
  • Then proceed to Hikkim for a visit to the world’s highest post office in the world from where you can send postcards to your loved ones.
  • Later, visit the highest village in Asia, Komik, where you can enjoy a picnic with a maggie cookout session.
  • Visit the world-famous Ki Monastery nestled between the mountains in a bowl-shaped valley.
  • Visit the Chicham Bridge which is the highest bridge in Asia and look down the bridge and you will find yourself gaping below, at a 1000 ft. deep gorge.
  • Upon reaching Chicham, enjoy a butter tea session with a Spitian.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at a homestay in Chicham.
Day 6
Chicham to Nako | Spin 500 Year Old Prayer Wheel Made of Yak Skin
Nako
  • After a delicious breakfast, you will be retracing your path towards Nako.
  • Hit the roads and just as just 3 Km before Sumdo, take a detour on the left through the gate to visit the 500-Year-Old Mummy in the Gue Village (being subject to road opening).
  • Reach Nako and visit the high altitude Nako Lake by the Nako Monastery and get a chance to Spin the 500-Year-Old Prayer Wheel made of Yak Skin at the Monastery.
  • Later, sit leisurely by the Nako Lake and witness a change in shades of the lake water as the sun sets behind the mighty mountains.
  • One can also trek to Manne village which is considered to be one of the prettiest villages of Spiti and has an interesting story behind its re-settlement.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Nako.
Day 7
Nako to Shimla | Enjoy an outdoor lunch in the mountains
Shimla
  • After a delicious breakfast, you will be retracing your path towards Shimla., known as the fruit bowl of Himachal Pradesh.
  • Travel along the Spiti river and continue towards the Kinnaur Valley leaving behind the Spiti Valley.
  • You will then travel through the slithering roads of NH5 following the Sutlej and passing the rich Deodhar forests to reach Shimla.
  • On reaching Shimla, transfer directly to Shimla Bus Stand for boarding an overnight bus to Delhi.
Day 8
Reach Delhi | End of Trip With a Bag Full of Life Time Memories
Delhi
  • Conclude the tour as you reach Delhi in the morning with a bag full of new stories and memories from the mountains.

  • Minimum 2 people are required to book this tour.
  • Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; it is advisable that you take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.
  • Consult a physician before undertaking the tour. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the tour.
  • Thrillophilia reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.
  • Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond our control like a change in flight and train schedule, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, roadblocks, etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost. No bill will be reimbursed for any missed service/facility.
  • Because of any reason natural or personal, if the tour or a particular activity is not completed, no refund will be processed
  • Pay heed to the tour guides and instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound tour.
  • All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees, monument entrances, camera charges, permits, etc. are not a part of the package.
  • GST is applicable to the package cost.
  • Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package. Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal. Any kind of drink (alcoholic, aerated, or mineral water) is not included in the package cost.
  • Carry enough cash as the number of ATMs in high-altitude regions are comparatively less and there are long queues at times.
  • All the travellers are requested to carry a copy of their medical certificate (if any) with them.
  • Transportation during the trip would be in Non AC & Non-Heater vehicles. Please wear clothes according to the weather while travelling.
  • If in case any traveller wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveller. Neither the operator nor Thrillophilia will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
  • Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.
  • ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
  • It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 60 litres as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc.
  • Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.
  • The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travellers littering may be fined.
  • Any breakage or damage of any items in the resort will be charged at actuals.
  • Rescheduling Policy for Private (Standard & Deluxe Package) & Group Bookings: 1) If rescheduling is made 7 days after the Booking Date till 15 days prior to the Date of Travel then 30.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as rescheduling fees. | 2) If rescheduling is made 0 days to 15 days before the Date of Travel then 100.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. | 3) If bookings are made 15 days before the Date of Travel no rescheduling & modifications will be made.
  • Rescheduling Policy for Private (Super Deluxe) & Hotel Specific Bookings: No modification or Rescheduling will be catered. A standard cancellation policy will be applicable for such cases.
  • Force Majeure: In cases of force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, or other unforeseeable circumstances), [Thrillophilia] reserves the right to reschedule Tours & treks or offer alternative itineraries to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
  • Cancellation After Rescheduling: Clients who reschedule their tours or treks but later decide to cancel will be subject to our standard cancellation policy. Any rescheduling fees paid will be non-refundable.
