  • 01

    Summary

Muktihole offers a secluded and serene retreat if one wishes to get away from the hustle-bustle of city life and enjoy the splendour of the splash. Nestled in the forests of Western Ghats, this waterfall site provides an unforgettable experience. The water cascades in three stages, and the pond created by the falls is ideal for swimming. Near the falls is the ideal place for pitching camps. There are plenty of rocks in the area suitable for rock climbing adventure.

This enchanting waterfall is located in the midst of Kodagaddae forest, and a not so well-defined Trekking Trail leads to this destination. Initially, one has to trek uphill a mountain, and then trek down a steep hill to reach a valley on the other side. Walking along the valley for around 5 to 6 km will lead to Muktihole

Alternatively, the trek can also be started from Dodda mane side via Kodigadde, and also there is an uphill trekking route to Medini village.
