60 Best Pilgrimage Tours in India - 2020 (with 2484 Reviews)

India is a confluence of religions and pilgrimage has great significance in the cultural context of the country. India is second to none when it comes to diversity in view of the diverse religions to which it fills in as an amalgamating pot. Each religion has its essentialness and a proposed lifestyle to live it as in a perfect world. The practice of pilgrimage in India is so profoundly entrenched in the social mind and the plethora of sacred places is so big in number that the whole subcontinent may really be viewed as one ostentatious and persistent consecrated place. India is an eminent nation that bafflingly works concordantly disregarding the numerous distinctions every last individual offers.

With some of the oldest cities, ancient mosques and temples and spiritual ashrams pilgrimage tours in India are for the souls to rejuvenate and find the peace of life which often gets lost in pursuit of materialism. Apart from the spiritual aspect, Indian pilgrimage sites also offer entertainment and recreation for travelers with festivals and processions filled with fun and gaiety. The celebrated shrines in India are structures of architectural genius and often offer the most breathtaking views of scenic landscapes around. The myths and legends of these sacred places have their roots in the ancient events and people’s experiences. Each place has many intriguing myths and legends. The intriguing parts of these legends are that not many have composed records but generally passed orally from era to era.

These religious detours are a perfect way to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city and embark upon a blissful experience to attain harmony. Whether it is a spiritual walk in the oldest civilized city of Varanasi or a trek through Uttarakhand to see the ancient shrines, Indian pilgrimage is unrivalled. From north to south, east to west India is blessed with a number of pilgrimage sites where you can satisfy your quest or thirst for spiritualism. I had a nice time during the Kuari Pass trekking. This trekking was a lot of fun and it was very interesting. Also, the camping done was very relaxing and rejuvenating in between. It was planned trek and our trek leader was amazing. He made sure that we are enjoying the trek and shared lot of his trekking stories with us.

Kuari Pass is an easy trek, but challenging nonetheless. The first 2 days of the trek were like a walk in the park. The challenge mounted on the 3rd day, the day of Kuari Pass, when one needs to trek in knee-deep snow. Our Crew was amazing and very hospitable. Our guide made the whole trip very adventurous. He taught us snow sliding, finding routes, spotting peaks, and identifying clean streams of water. I was never bored with his narration of folklore. A warm and adventurous personality! We had the best cooks! The food they served us in the mountains was better than the food in the best restaurant in Joshimath. And they were very conscientious of the food they made. Changing the menu as per the requirements of the day, so that we are fresh and active all the time! Thank you Manish and Sohan :) I cannot recommend this trek enough. Astounding and humbling views, fresh air, face off with the elements of nature and a life altering experience!

Thought to be a easy trek in the beginning but it became challenging as we kept acenting. One of the best trek for scenic beauty. The trek wouldn't be easy without proper support of staff. Food was truly delicious and nutritious. Cant expect such amazing tasty food even at ground level. Trek leader had well Knowledge of Pass, nearby peaks and basic medicines. All the arrangements from very beginning to the end was all perfect. Just a recommendation to the crew to carry extra sleeping bag and a tent. Crew was more like a friend and family then just a crew. It is truly said that distance is best measure in friends rather than miles. A lifetime remembering experience....:-)

Our trip started from Haridwar from where drove to Joshimath. In between we had seen confluence of rivers which was amazing. Our trekking expedition started from day 2 from Dhak village. 4th day trek was very challenging as we trekked for 15 kms to Kauri Pass. Camping arrangement for very good and sleeping were of good quality. Terrain is tough so make sure you carry good trekking shoes.
I booked this helicopter package for my parents and they had a wonderful time there. They were highly satisfied & happy with their holy trip. The arrangements of stay, meals, transport all were well taken care of. They had proper darshan at all the temples. Thanks for the memorable trip
Recently I went to Chardham yatra with my family and it was such an amazing experience. The facilities provided were really good, the rooms were nice, the food provided was also good, the driver was very humble and nice. It was an amazing experience to take a bath in hot springs. We had a proper visit in all the temples, I was mesmerized by the Kedarnath temple, the positive vibes of the entire trip was much needed. Thanks, for the wonderful experience.
