Bala Quila Fort Overview

Bala Quila Fort, perched on a hill in Alwar, Rajasthan, is an ancient fortress with a rich history. It was first built by Hasan Khan Mewati in 1550, but has since seen various dynasties rule over it as Alwar passed into the hands of Khanzadas, Mughals, Pathans and Jats. The fort still stands as imposing as ever, and is a great place to visit during an evening in the city.
