Eco Park

Dhanaulti built in collaboration between the DFO Mussoorie and the residents of
Dhanaulti, the Eco Park features a plethora of flora as well as the native
Deodar, Oak & Rhododendron trees, also housing endangered birds adding to

Deogarh Fort

Here, you can also witness the spiritual side of the fort, as it holds a good count of Jain temples in its vicinity, hailing out to more revelers from around the globe. This splendid edifice of early age is worth-visiting with your bunch of mates.

Surkanda Devi Temple

Amidst clouds of fog and haze and
abundant greenery and colourful flowers lies the Surkanda Devi temple, situated
atop a hill near Dhanaulti hill station (about 8 KM) and Chamba (22 KM) in
Tehri district of Uttarkhand is a peaceful religious abode attracting throngs
of followers everyday.
The temple provides a breathtaking panoramic 360 degree view of the Garhwal region. In the north, snow capped mountains of Himalayas can be seen (on a clear day). On the other side, you will see Rishikesh and the Dehradun valley. A variety of beautiful flowers and herbs are grown in abundance here. Also marvel at the variety of aieral species of the western Himalayas in this region.
Best time to Visit: You can visit this temple all year round, but the best time to visit it is during the Ganga Dusshera Festival (from May – June) and indulge in the electric festival vibes.

Potato Farm

Need a change from the usual albeit
stunning mountain scenery and snowcapped hills? Head on over to Dhanaulti’s
famous Aloo Khet (Potato Farm), located close to the main market of Dhanaulti.
This farm is owned by the Government of Uttarakhand. Popular as a sunrise
point, the place also offers a panoramic view of the Doon Valley. Tourists can
hire horses to explore this unique and breathtaking spot. The farm produces a
large quantity of potatoes, which are also supplied to other states of India.
Ideal for nature lovers and avid photographers, marvel at tons of potatoes and the process in cultivating this staple vegetable. Experience nature in it’s raw and rustic form as you make sure you add this destination to your places to visit in Dhanaulti.

Dashavatar Temple

Dashavatar Temple is indeed one of the most serene places to visit in Dhanaulti and is the earliest recognized Panchayatan temple. The alluring architecture, which it exhibits is of the Gupta period and is just exceptional.
Holding the deity of Lord Vishu, it is frequented by its devotees and several tourists who love history. The panels of the temple are embellished with beautiful sculptures and will not fail to amaze you with its beguiling beauty. Also, here you can spot, inscriptions carved on the walls of the temple.
