How to Reach Haridwar:
- By Air: Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun serves as the nearest airport to Haridwar. Visitors can take a direct flight to Dehradun from Mumbai or Delhi or connecting flights from anywhere in India. Local vehicles can be used from outside the airport to reach Haridwar by road from Dehradun.
- By Train: Reaching Haridwar By Trains: Haridwar Junction Railway Station (IR station code: HW) is well-connected by train, with frequent trains to Delhi (4-5 hours) and Dehradun (1 hour). There are also a few trains per day to Rishikesh.
- By Road: Haridwar is well connected by roads to all major cities and towns, so people, as per their choice and comfort, can take the bus to reach Haridwar smoothly. Haridwar is connected to Chandigarh (205km), Delhi (210km), Dehradun (59km), and Nainital (223km) through a good network of roads

You can do the Kuari Pass hike if you're in pretty good shape and have some hiking expertise. You need to be physically and gear-wise prepared to do it, but beginners can give it a shot too. For those who enjoy a little difficulty, the trek is perfect.
However, for this walk, you will need excellent stamina. You have a hard and strenuous 4-kilometre climb on the first day that will gain you around 3,000 feet in elevation. The walk takes place over several days, requiring long walks each day. The physical demands can be more easily managed with a steady pace and frequent rests.

Temperatures dip to -8°C to -14°C at night, while the daytime temperatures are in the 8 °C–14°C range. The entire area is covered in white snow from December to March, turning it into a winter paradise.
For your comfort, you should dress in five layers of warm clothing. It is a picturesque scene with miniature rhododendrons, oak trees, and pines blanketed in snow. From the first day forward, the views of India's highest Himalayas are just spectacular. The snow makes the walk more challenging, but it also makes it more beautiful, making it a trekker's paradise.
Kuari Pass Trek in Spring
The Kuari Pass journey is most picturesque in the spring, when the snow and blossoming flora combine to create a stunning sight. The temperature during the day is between 13°C and 17°C, and at night it is zero°C. To be warm, you'll need to wear three or four layers.
In the middle to late spring, the lower cabins' snow starts to melt, but the higher parts of Gorson and Kuari are still covered in snow. Little flowers show up in the lower fields, and rhododendrons bloom on the trees. The walk is especially beautiful during this season because of the dramatic contrast of snow, greenery, and bright flowers.

- Carry dry snacks/food from home (you will save a lot of money). Carry water bottles with you, so that you can refill.
- Keep your luggage minimum; the more you carry, the more you hassle.
- Any personal expenses, items of personal nature, meals not mentioned, etc. will not be in part of the winter Kuari Pass trek package.
- Children below the age of 7 years are not recommended for winter Kuari pass trek.

- During a trip, in case the roads are blocked due to landslides or a reason that is beyond control, Thrillophilia will rearrange the itinerary for the travellers real-time, however, the cost of alternative accommodation will be borne by the customer as the hotels pre-booked execute their cancellation policies and are nonrefundable.
- Because of any reason natural or personal, if the Trek or a particular activity is not completed, no refund will be processed.
- The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to change in the number of guests, hotel change, itinerary change, etc.
- If in case any traveller wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveller. Neither the operator nor Thrillophilia will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
- The refund or compensation is also not issued if for any reason you have to come down from the trek. The trek leader may send you down from the trek, owing to reasons like lack of fitness, AMS, blood pressure, turn-around-time, health issues, or if you are found smoking/ drinking, or breaking the rules of the trek. refund or compensation are issued only when the whole trek is cancelled or called off on behalf of Thrillophilia.
- At Thrillophilia, we almost never call off or cancel our treks. But in the rare event we might have to call off or cancel a trek due to any unforeseen natural catastrophes like continuous rain or snow, thunderstorms, snowstorms, landslides, floods, earthquakes, or any other natural calamity or other issues like local riots, curfews, pandemics, lockdowns, government orders, or any such situations that might prevent a safe trekking experience. In such cases, Thrillophilia will issue a Credit note summing up to the same amount as your trek fee that can be redeemed on any of the treks over a period of the next year.
