Greenhouses

The 14 hectare park comprises contemporary landscape architecture with some modern steel and glass structures at the south end. These massive greenhouses are among the top points of interest at the Parc André Citroën and house a variety of exotic plants of Mediterranean origin. Although they are reminiscent of the orangeries in the Tuileries and Luxembourg, they have a modern take, with gigantic high glass walls supported by a metal framing.

Visitors of the park are also attracted to the series of concrete walls with built-in waterfalls on one side of the park area. There is also a man-made river that runs alongside the walls apart from a wall of green hedges and trees that lies right across the concrete walls. From this part of the garden you can find a passage into various other sections of the garden with different color themes, such as the blue garden, which is filled with plants whose flowers have various shades of blue.
