This three-kilometre stretch between Babulath and Nariman Point is located at the foot of the Malabar Hill and is a C-shaped road. One of the most visited Mumbai tourist places, Marine Drives gives you a beautiful view of the sun at sunset in the Arabian Sea.
You can see the entire stretch of the road, and sit by the beach which is known as the “Queen’s necklace” as the Marine Drive does look like a necklace at night since the road glistens like a necklace because of the streetlights at night. Marine Drive is famous for morning and evening walkers, who find this stretch of road perfect for their walks.
This is also a natural bay and a perfect place to visit in the city of Mumbai. Come here to watch the sunset and relax by the bay in the evening, and enjoy Mumbai’s street food by the sparkling dark blue waters of the Marine Drive.
The stretch of Marine Drive is home to various celebrities who live in their swanky residences in the area. The place has become a premium residential area because of this.
