    Kidzania

    Kidzania is an unique and interactive indoor theme park built to inspire, educate and teach kids about real life professions through role play activities. There are no rides or video games.     Vardhaman Fantasy

    Vardhaman Fantasy is a relatively new attraction in comparison to all other picnic spots listed in this article. It caters to everyone, be it a child or an adult looking for some entertainment. Here, you will find ample of elements to spend a pleasant day or at least a few hours in the evening.

    The highlight of the park is its 7 internationally themed zones such as Texas cowboy which can be seen at the entrance and Greek Village where beautiful fountains and various stalls selling handicraft products, merchandise are set up. Similarly, Colo Theatrum, Viva Las Vegas, Wonders of the World, Lake Venetia and Spanish food are other theme zones in the park. 

    Out of all, the zone with seven wonders of the world has gained maximum popularity where you can spot miniature versions of the Great Wall Of China, Taj Mahal, Leaning Tower of Pisa, The Giza Pyramid, Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower and Christ the Redeemer Statue. Below each of these auspicious monument, its history and importance is well explained.     Suraj Water Park

    Suraj Water Park has been one of the popular amusement parks near Mumbai; especially amongst school and college kids. It is a theme park spread across 11 acres and is situated just 7 kilometers away from Thane railway station on the Ghodbunder road. Similarly, it is just 15 km from the hub of suburbs, Borivali. 

    Thus the park becomes easily accessible. It is a great place for one day picnic where families, friends and people of all age groups can have a great time. The park looks beautiful with mermaids and world’s largest cave made out of fibre glass decorated in the interior side. 

    The statue of Lord Shiva with Ganga originating from his hair-lock as in Indian mythology is another attraction in the park. There are multiple water rides designed carefully keeping in mind various age groups and safety.

    Other than this, there are several other facilities like costume shop, locker facility, fast food restaurant, first aid centre and free parking for around 200 vehicles.
