1. Yas Marina Circuit - Yas Marina is a government built cycling track in Abu Dhabi, initiated to endorse healthy lifestyles among the locals. The bikes available here are free to both locals and tourists. This cycling track in Abu Dhabi was inspired by Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel so you can bike around the original Abu Dhabi Grand Prix track. The track is open to the public on every sunday and tuesday from 6 pm to midnight. There is no rental charge for bikes so you can get a bike for free here. The track stretches to approximately 6 kilometers so there is plenty of room for you to practice your cycling moves.

Several learning cyclists and race cyclers visit this track to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city. There are great facilities around the track along with a 24*7 running coffee shop. You can find several looped tracks here that go from 8 kilometers to 30 kilometers so you can choose according to your comfort level. There is also a built-in elevation in the tracks that is thrilling for new bikers. Since this track is located in an isolated area, you will find strong gusts of wind blowing on tracks. 3. Hudayriat Island track - Locally known as ‘Al Hudayriat Island cycle track’, the Hudayriat island track is one of the largest cycling tracks in Abu Dhabi. It is the entire island dedicated to beach and sports activities. This track was opened in 2018 and comprises a 5 kilometers and a 10 kilometers cycling track surrounded by gorgeous city views. It is not usually crowded during the weekdays so you can spend some quality time here with your friends and family. You can cycle till a free public beach and then rent a kayak or calm your hunger with multiple food trucks offering delicious snacks. It is mandatory to wear bike helmets throughout the track for safety purposes. 4. Qasr Al Sarab sand dunes - The famous Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort in Abu Dhabi recently added a cycling track into their activity program offered to guests. They have organized 10 fat bikes that allow the guests to conquer the large dunes surrounding the resort. The unique feature about the fat bikes is that they have 4.8 inches wide tires that can tackle the sandy dunes. You can also get an opportunity to ride the dunes of the world’s largest desert, the Empty Quarter here. The resort offers a guided desert tour to their guests which takes approximately 1 to 2 hours and covers 7-10 kilometers of sandy tracks.
