Biking or Jeep safari Trip from Manali To Ladakh
Length of the Trip: 16 Nights and 17 Days
1st Day: Delhi
Reach Delhi
2nd Day: Delhi – Manali
Reach Manali, Checkin with your group at Benon Resorts and spend the night relaxing.
3rd Day: Manali
Roam around the beautiful city of Manali the next morning and get your bikes or jeep safari set to start the amazing biking experience through the Trans-Himalayan Mountain riding a total distance of 484 kms. Have your dinner and sleep well at night in the hotel.
4th Day: Manali-Khoksar (Distance: 57 km)
Once you’ve had your breakfast start riding your cycles to reach Khoksar passing via Rohtang Pass (3980m) which is the first of high passes that links Kulu Valley and Lahaul-Spiti Valley. Once you reach Khoksar situated at an altitude of 3140m, you’ll find it to be a very chilling and windswept place. You can nail your tents and spend the night dining and sleeping around the bon fire.
5th Day: Khoksar – Tandi (Distance: 49 km)
After having your breakfast on the 5th Day, the next destination would be Tandi riding along the Chandra River. Reach Tandi and spend the night camping in your tents beside the bon fire.
6th Day: Tandi – Darcha (Distance: 43 km)
After your morning breakfast begin riding to reach Darcha. On your way, take a break at Gondhala to enjoy the ancient Gondhala Fort, travel across Keylong situated at an altitude of 3348m, a patch of green fields, Jispa situated at an altitude of 3142m, where you’ll find the newly built monastery for The Dalai Lama. You’ll reach Darcha somewhere around evening. It’s located in a astounding, wide and airy landscape. Enjoy your night in your tents camping around the bon fire.
7th Day: Darcha – Intermediary Camp
After your morning breakfast began riding to reach the Intermediary Camp, travelling via Patseo situated at an altitude of 3811m and having an open and attractive green pasture. Reach the Intermediary Camp and spend the night camping over there in tents.
8th Day: Intermediary Camp I – Sarchu (Distance: 40 km)
Once you’ve had your morning breakfast start riding to reach Sarchu which is the border of Himachal and Jammu and Kashmir states. Arrive Sarchu, situated at an altitude of 4253m, for dinner and spend your night over there camping in tents.
9th Day: Sarchu – Intermediary Camp II (Distance: 49 km)
Once you’ve had your morning breakfast start riding to reach Intermediary Camp II. Reach Intermediary Camp II near Lachung La for dinner and stay there camping in tents for the night.
10th Day: Intermediary Camp II – Pang (Distance: 35 km)
Once you’ve had your morning breakfast start riding to reach Pang. Take a break at the Lachulung La situated at 5065m, it’s the third Pass that you’ll reach after crossing the Tsarap Chu River. As Pang is famous as a lunch spot during
11th Day: Pang - Taglang La (Distance: 63 km)
Once you’ve had your morning breakfast start riding to Taglang La. You’ll be riding down the longest plain stretch at More Plains. A steady climb takes you to Taglang Pass situated at an altitude of 5328m, which is the 2nd highest motorable pass in the world. Ride across the Pass and camp overnight by a small stream at the bottom of the Pass.
12th Day: Taglang La – Upshi (Distance: 54 km)
Ride your bikes or jeep safari to reach Upshi and spend your night in the tents around the bon fire.
13th Day: Upshi – Leh (Distance: 60 km)
Once you’ve had your breakfast start riding your way back to the capital city Leh. On your way, take time to visit Hemis Gompa, Thiksey Gompa and the ancient Shey Palace. Reach Leh before dinner and check in the Hotel. Have a sumptuous dinner and relax at the hotel for the night.
14th Day: Leh
Relax for an entire day and enjoy the weather of
