    Arrival in Leh

    • After arriving in Leh, check-in into a hotel and get acclimatized to the sudden change in altitude and relax for the day. Later in the day, visit the Shanti Stupa and enjoy the astounding views of the snow clad peaks surrounding the location.

    Leh Exploration
    Shey & Stok Monasteries, Shanti Stupa, Local Market
    • Due to the climate change, it is always advised to take it easy on day 2 too. After having breakfast, you will spend the first half of the day visiting the nearby Gompas or the Shey and Stok monasteries along with the Shanti Stupa. In the late afternoon, explore the local markets, the eclectic cafes and the quaint curio shops. While walking through the many lanes and by-lanes, meet the locals and know more about their lives; overnight stay in the hotel.

    Travel from Leh to Nimmu (45km/2 Hours)
    Ladakhi Life, Heritage Home, Cooking Class, Village Walk
    • Today morning; after having breakfast in Leh, proceed towards the Nimmmu village. Arriving at the hamlet, check-in into a heritage home and unwind yourself. Post this, explore the vicinity and visit the nearby apple, apricots and walnut orchards that spreads across 5,000m. You can also indulge in a guided walk for the entire house, a visit to the stable where yaks and sheep are kept, a cooking class and learn to make momos and thukpa.

    Travel from Nimmu to Leh
    Lamayuru & Alchi Monasteries
    • On your way back to Leh, you can visit the Alchi and Lamayuru monasteries and witness the spirituality that exists in both. Arriving in Leh, check-in into a hotel for an overnight stay.

    Travel from Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardungla (140km/5 Hours)
    Khardungla Pass, Sand Dunes, Sunset View
    • On this day, you will drive through the winding Khardungla Pass (18,380ft) and proceed towards the Nubra valley; en route, enjoy hot beverages like lemon tea. Here, you will pass through the sand dunes of Hunder along with getting a glimpse of the snow peaks, the frozen rivers and the deserts; overnight stay in an organic campsite in Hunder followed by the mesmerising sunset views.

    Travel from Nubra to Turtuk
    Village Walk, Homestay
    • Tody’s drive will take you to Turtuk, which was opened for tourism in 2010, is one of the most scenic and gorgeous settlements in Ladakh. Arriving at the village, check-in into a local homestay and retire for the night.

    Travel from Turtuk to Leh (8 Hours)
    Khardungla Pass
    • On this day, you will be driving back to Leh, through the Khardungla Pass. The journey will last for 8 Hours.

    Travel from Leh to Pangong Lake (160km/6 Hours)
    Pangong Lake, Lakeside Camping
    • Begin the day with a spiritual visit to the Thiksey Monastery. Hereafter, follow the route through the Chang La Pass to reach the great Pangong Lake. The beauty of this lake is breathtaking with pristine blue waters and an amazing backdrop! To enjoy the true delight of this magical region, spend the night in an overnight camp beside the lake.

    Travel back from Pangong Lake to Leh
    Hemis Monastary, Local Cafes, Local Cuisines
    • On the Leh returning day, visit the Hemis Monastery and witness its spirituality along with the architectural brilliance. Arriving in Leh, you can again take a stroll down the lanes of the market and visit the local cafes for some lip smacking cuisines.
