Ladakh is always a pleasure to visit. It is the best place to be close to nature as the nature is at its absolute best and at raw display here. A week’s trip around June-July is perfect for Ladakh. Ladakh is bestowed with loads of natural beauty so you can brace your camera for wonderful memorable pictures. Ladakh, no doubt, has always been a paradise for bikers and the Manali-Leh highway is indeed the stairway to this heavenly place. This highway is tricky and totally crumbled and one must be extremely careful while riding. But once you are through, you are on top of the world. And the feeling, I swear, is incredible and one which you can’t describe in words! Our trip was slated to begin from Delhi on 12th Auguast to Manali. The Manali-Leh highway remains closed for almost eight months. It opens in late May till September. It is not advisable to travel in late May or early June because melting ice causes sludge and water streams and may impede your journey for days. Also, the monsoon arrives in late September in this part of the country. This makes July-August the best time to visit this place. Volvo buses run by Himachal Tourism and other operators reach Manali overnight from Delhi. We reached Manali on the morning of August 13 rested and bought a few articles like gumboots, bungee cords and rain sheets. In the second half of the day, we checked our bikes, had a test ride, and filled our tanks so that we could start the journey early morning the next day. Thrillophilia has arranged and organised well for our trip and the guide that followed us was really helpful and informative. I would like sincerely thank Aman and the gang who followed us from Manali till Leh.

Manali Leh was a great experience with Thrillophilia. It was all very well explained at their site, with everything that we needed to know, what to expect, and as a result, we were well prepared for this trip. Bikes were in good condition. Guide worked hard to get us through all obstructions so we could make it to our base camp each night. The support team that was with them was great and made sure that the trip went smooth.

I was planning for a bike trip along with my buddies and we couldn’t think of anything better than Ladakh. It was one of the most amazing rides for all of us. The snow capped mountains, valleys and the soothing monasteries added more beauty to this trip. The bikes which were provided to us were very smooth and perfect for the trip. The best thing was fuel was included in the package. We also had a mechanic who was riding with us throughout the tour. Riding through the serene roads and the mountains passes were something we will cherish forever. Riding through Khardungla Pass, the highest motorable road was quite an experience. We also passed Baralachala Pass and Tanglang La. Food and accommodation were good as well. I should say it was a great adventure for all of us.

It was one of the best adventure trips for all of us. I went with my friends for this amazing bike trip to Ladakh. We booked this tour from Thrillophilia at once; the booking process was done in an instant. Everything was very well arranged. After reaching Manali we were provided with our Enfield 350 cc motorbike and also a mechanic for the whole tour. The fuel comes with the package so we did not have to worry much on that. There was also a backup jeep for us. The permit fee for Pangong and Tsomoriri are also covered in the package. The food and the accommodation were good as well. The whole trip was amazing. We click some amazing picture of the breathtaking landscape. Most of all the best part was our trip to Nubra valley when we passed the highest motorable pass Khardungla Pass. Overall it was a great trip for all of us.
