How To Reach

The easiest way to reach the beach is by renting a long tail boat from Chalong Pier or Rawai beach. Visitors can also choose to drive and then walk down to the beach. 

The beach is situated to the north of Trisara Villas, between Bang Tao and Nai Thon beaches. There are two access points to the beach along the left-side of the road between Bang-Tao and Nai Thon beaches. 

The points are obscured by the line of trees along the road and visitors cannot drive beyond them. They need to walk down the trails to reach the beach.  

Best Time To Visit

The best time to visit Banana beach is between November and February. The weather during these months is cool and dry and is just perfect for enjoying the outdoor activities on the beach. Visitors can also plan a trip between February and May when the weather is extremely hot yet suitable enough to enjoy a beach outing.

1. You will need to carry your ID proof while visiting the beach. Do note that a PAN card will not be considered valid address proof. 

2. The beach is not wheelchair accessible. 

3. The beach activities are not recommended for pregnant women, those with back problems, very young children and elderly people.

4. Those with heart problems or other serious medical conditions should refrain from indulging in beach activities.

5. Bring your towel, bathing suit, sunglasses and sunscreen to the beach.

6. ​​Do not leave your children up to the age of 11 years alone. They should be accompanied by an adult at all times.

7. If your weight is more than 80kg, you should not go parasailing.

8. If you have taken a flight eight hours before or you are due to take a flight after eight hours, you should not go for sea walking.
