About Wat Phranang SangIt is the oldest temple in Phuket, and the exact age of the temple is not known. However, it is built for more than 500 years, and it has been attracting the attention of tourists. Currently, a whole new complex behind the old temple is constructed. The grounds are large, and visitors can walk through the ground complex to explore different things. In fact, the temple is associated with lots of stories and there are plenty of things to see. The historical temple involves the legend of Phra Nang leud Khao, who was a lady with white blood. She was the wife of the ruler of the city, a devotee of Buddha.
Location: The temple is present about 20 km from the main town of Thalang district on Thepkasattri Road.
Highlights: The walls of the temple are covered with stories of Lord Buddha. There is even a white temple and a mummified Abbot. There are three large images of Lord Buddha in different buildings.
