Either that or you would have to collect water with a bamboo stick. Other activities include starting a fire using old techniques and hunting for food with a game of archery. You will also have to find shelter and build it with the materials that are provided. Engage in Scavenger Hunt where the utensils will be hidden across. You and your group will have to scout for them. Somewhere along the way, a lion is on the prowl and you have to undertake Jumaring (rope climbing activity). Also, one of your tribesmen is injured. Leave from Bangalore for an overnight journey at 11 pm. Reach Madikeri early morning, freshen up and have breakfast in a local hotel. Take a bus to Hattihole and commence the trek to Kotebetta once you are here at 9 AM. Beginning on an asphalted road, you gradually enter the thick forest which leads to the summit. Butterflies which are one of the most colorful and fascinating creatures of the insect kingdom are one of the greatest attractions of  Bannerghatta Butterfly park. Although Bangalore is known as the IT capital, on the outskirts of Bangalore lies the wonderful world the wild creatures along with the pretty butterflies. 

Butterflies which are called the ‘Flying Jewels’ are delicate, beautiful and fascinating creatures. To study and conserve these wonders of nature, the first ever butterfly park in India is set up at the Bannerghatta National Park. The Bannerghatta Butterfly Park is an integrated center which greatly supports education, conservation and research activities.

Description:

Spread over an area of 7.5 acres with a butterfly trail of about a kilometer length, it is divided as a butterfly garden, a conservatory with a polycarbonate roof and a research and captive breeding laboratory. The landscaped garden and the man made waterfall creates a natural habitat for these insects.The thirty species of butterflies belonging to five families are: Papilionidae, Pieridae, Nymphalidae, Lycaenidae and Hesperiidae. However one study reported 48 species of butterflies in various seasons here.

Bannerghatta Butterfly Park located about 22 kms from Bangalore, adjacent to the Bannerghatta National Park and is open on almost everyday. It is easily accessible by bus and other private transport. Gokarna, a small temple town located in the Uttar Kannada district of Karnataka, is home to several unspoiled beaches. Celebrate a trip to Murdeshwar Beach. Situated in the Uttar Kannada region, it is known for its gigantic statue of Lord Shiva. Along the coast of the Arabian Sea, this place is blessed with natural beauty and scenic splendour.

Meet at 10pm. After an overnight journey of around 8 hours and arrival in Shishila, check-in into the basecamp and freshen up. Following breakfast at the camp, attend the briefing session and start trekking around 8am through the various terrains and reach the Amedhikallu peak. While at the peak, enjoy the panoramic views and relish in picnic lunch in the mountains. Pitch tents for an overnight journey. During the evening, relax around the bonfire. 

Next day morning, around 8am start trekking back to the basecamp in Shishila. Compared to previous day, this one is an easy trek and takes lesser time to complete. With your arrival at the camp, begin your return journey to Bangalore; en route, have breakfast in Dharmasthala

The Anthargange trek is one of the most coveted trekking spots near Bangalore. It's a unique confluence of trekking and cave exploration that takes the excitement one notch up. Anthargange hill is completely surrounded by boulders. Located around 65km from Bangalore near Kolar, the elevation of the top of this hill is 1712m above sea level.

Anthargange night Trip is an unforgettable experience in terms of trekking and cave exploration. The trek which is around 3km in length, you will find it to be pretty moderate as the trek starts with finding a way through broken rocks and tricky path in the boulders to finally arrive at the cave site to explore.

Located at around 300km from Bangalore, the Bandaje Arbi Falls is among the picturesque ones in the Charmadi Ranges of Western Ghats.
