Trek to some mesmerizing slices of nature that are found around the borders of Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Goa. An overnight trek in Sada Village in the rich diverse land brings you close quarters with an ancient fort built by Kadambas, a 200ft drop waterfall nestled in dense jungles, and volcanic caves tucked underground. Also on this two day trip of around 10 hours, touch the region’s highest point at Siddheswar (3,300ft), and have a stopover at Mother Mary Rock.
Be transferred from your hotel in Belgaum around 7am to Kankumbi campsite. Post breakfast, leave for Sada (16km) from where the guided trek begins. This short trek (6-8km) covers Sada Waterfalls, crawling through volcanic underground caves, and spotting the mysterious Mother Mary Rock. Enjoy a packed meal with nature for company. Hit Sada again on your way back. The village poses a unique setting with typically shaped houses. Leave for Kankumbi to retire for the day in your tented accommodation.
