About The Activity:

Arrive at the decided pick-up point (depending upon the pick-up point you choose) and gear up for an amazing journey from Bangalore to Chikmagalur.
Reach the campsite in Chikmagalur at around 6:00 AM, and have breakfast, post which, your 15 km trek to Kurinjal will start.
The assistance and support of a professional guide are also included in the Kurinjal Gudda trek package.
Head towards the top of the mountains through the scenic trails and admire the picturesque views of the dense forests.
At around 8:00 AM, reach Kudremukh national park and finish the National Park formalities.
Explore some rare species of plants, birds, reptiles, amphibians, butterflies, and insects, this beautiful park offers.
Get on an exciting journey, trekking to the Kurinjal Gudda peak, and enjoy the packed lunch on the way.
Once at the peak, you can enjoy 360-degree views of coffee plantations and surroundings.
Take in the breathtaking scenery of grassland interspersed with narrow strips of forests from the top.
Head back from the peak, reach the homestay, and spend the evening with a bonfire and delicious dinner.

Kurinjal Peak Trek Itinerary

On Saturday, the first day of the Kurinjal Peak trek, you will reach the base camp at around 06:00 AM. After that, wash up and have a delicious breakfast.
At around 08:00 AM, reach Kudremukh national park and finish the National Park formalities
Begin the trek toward the top of Kurinjal Peak at 09:00 AM. Once you reach the top, have lunch and enjoy the amazing panoramic view.
Reach the base camp at 06:00 PM and enjoy some campfire (Optional) and delicious dinner.

The Kurinjal peak trekking is an exhilarating experience for adventure enthusiasts. The trail is challenging and takes you through dense forests, steep inclines, and rocky terrain, offering stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The trek is moderate in difficulty and takes around 4-5 hours to complete. The trek offers a unique opportunity to experience nature up close and personal. The trek takes you through some of the most scenic locations of the Western Ghats, and you'll come across several species of flora and fauna, including exotic birds, butterflies, and rare orchids. Overall, if you're looking for a memorable trekking experience in the Western Ghats, Kurinjal peak trekking is an excellent choice. The breathtaking views and the sense of accomplishment make it all worthwhile.
