Mova Cave

Mova Cave, which is one of the natural historical places in Manipur, is also a popular tourist attraction in Hungpung. The natural cave is actually limestone that has formed into a cave, which lies next to the bluish Lungshang River.

It is a beautiful photogenic location where tourists can hike through the caves for an adventure. You can also go bird watching and see exotic wildlife close to the cave water. Kangla Fort

Kangla Palace is one of Manipur's oldest and most historically significant buildings. Earlier, it was accessed from both sides of the banks of Imphal river but now it is only open at the western side of the bank. However, only the dry land and remains of the ruined place is left on the other side.

In addition, the palace continues to hold a special place in the hearts and minds of the Manipuri people. Formerly, it served as the traditional seat of the Manipur Meetei rulers. You can also spend your time by antiquing in the fort as you admire the paintings, displays and frames present there.

The War Cemetery in Imphal

The War Cemetery is a dedicated wartime cemetery for thousands of British and Indian soldiers who defended India during WWII. The Commonwealth War Grave Commission maintains the place to ensure that the men and women who died in the wars are never really forgotten.
