Also known as Limestone Caves, or Sidda, Kavala Caves which have been in existence since prehistoric times, including this place in your Dandeli tour package will make your visit exciting. You need to climb down 375 steps to reach the entrance where there is a temple.  You have to crawl down 40 feet through the winding, narrow tunnels to catch a glimpse of the Shivalinga formed naturally.

You can see hollow places on the rock which are the effects of erosion. Kavala cave which is a limestone cave formed by volcanic activity ages back and are situated deep within the forest.

Anshi National Park

Ulavi Temple
