It is one of the popular treks, which leads to the Zanskar Valley. The trek takes one through the many Zanskar villages and various monasteries there in. A slow ascent up to the pass and then a steep descent to the Tsarap River brings one right into the heart of the Zanskar. The trail follows the river most of the way.

We will drive from New Delhi to the lush and exotic Kullu Valley crossing the Rohtang Pass to reach the start of the trek at Darcha. Towards the western end of the Himalayas a series of continuous mountain ridges, comprising scores of 6000m (20000 foot) peaks forms an effective barrier between the Indian provinces of Lahaul and Ladakh. Linking these contrasting mountainous regions is a Ladakh trekking route that provides one of the great challenges of the Indian Himalayan Treks.

We head north across the Shingo La into the ancient kingdom of Zanskar which is famous for its hardy inhabitants and starkly beautiful landscape. On the way one can encounter a row of isolated villages and numerous wonderful Buddhist monasteries, notably at Phuktal, Lingshet and Lamayuru. As a finale to what is unquestionably one of the world's most classic Indian trekking experiences, one can also plan to explore the fascinating and legendary Ladakhi capital of Leh.

This is a trek of 3 days and the most favorable time to embark on this trek is from the month of May to October. Stok La Pass is the highest peak in this trek, whereas people, nature, wildlife, landscapes, and villages are some of the highlights of this voyage.

Our trip will start from Leh. After crossing the phey bride and the Indus River, we will go on a long walk starting from the Zingchen Gorge. Then we will spend some leisure time and warm our mood with tea and snacks. If we get lucky then we will also get to see snow leopard. Once we are done with trekking, we will visit Rumbak village and spend our night there in homestay.

Our next day will begin with exploring the wildlife of the region, where we will get to see blue sheep, Tibetan sheep, migratory birds, argali, and even might snow leopard or Tibetan wolf. After taking help from the local guide, we will trek for 3 hours and reach Stok. Then we will continue our trek to hillside, followed by Indus valley. In the final stages, we will go downwards and visit Stok palace museum. We will stay there for a day and then finally drive back to Leh.

About the Destinations: Leh, in the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir is where one can experience a heavily influenced Tibetan culture. Needless to mention, fondly referred to as Little Tibet, this land of Lamas is known for its barren yet stunning landscapes, brightly painted gompas, fluttering colourful prayer flags dotting the entire land, rugged mountains and a contrasting imagery with snow-peaked Himalayas in the far background.

The erstwhile capital of the Himalayan Kingdom of Ladakh, Leh is attractive for its innumerable offerings. From monasteries to high altitude passes, the region gives the world its highest motorable road, a natural phenomenon defying gravity in the form of Magnetic Hill, and a high altitude water body the Pangong Lake stretching for over 130km.

A tryst with Leh is surely a once in a lifetime experience. Presenting a wide variety of episodes from challenging long distance trekking, fantastic campsites, thrilling road trips, and a wonderful slice of natural beauty Leh truly makes Ladakh amazing.

    About the Destination:

In addition to the spectacular views of the snow clad peaks, Kinnaur and Spiti Valley introduces the visitors with the diverse culture and traditions of the Spitian and Kinnauri people. Kinnaur - notably known as the land of fairy tales and fantasies, has an amazing terrain of lush green valley, orchards, vineyards, snow clad peaks and cold desert mountains. The old Hindustan–Tibet Highway, runs northeast from Shimla through the Kinnaur Valley, providing access to its rich flora and fauna. Being the border district of Himachal Pradesh, the culture and language is different from other parts of the state.

'Spiti' means the 'middle country' - a name given as a result of its ties with both India and Tibet. With freckles of green over a dry weather-beaten face, the cold deserts of Spiti is characterised by stark beauty, narrow valleys and high mountains. A century ago, Rudyard Kipling in Kim called Spiti "a world within a world" and a "place where the gods live" - a description that holds true to the present day!

Head for an exciting village cycle safari in Jaipur on your next holiday! At early Morning at 07:00 AM, the tour departs from Nahargarh Biological Park amidst the Aravali range, heading towards the Samode village on a bicycle. The total distance to be covered is around 56 km, crossing some extremely beautiful landscapes in the heart of Rajasthan, riding along unexplored country roads through mustard fields with desert berries on either side which is an indigenous way of fencing the fields.

Enjoy and admire the landscape on two wheels with a mix of everything that India has to offer to a traveler.  The mighty forts, majestic palaces, the abundant Havelis village folk performing their arts full of vibrant colors and traditions belong to one the most culturally rich people in the world

The melancholy of the landscape elevates as the lake-side is brought to life with the glory of the setting sun. Traversing through this “royal” state on a bicycle is an  exhilarating excursion.
