    The largest waterfall in India, Chitrakote waterfall is famously known as the Niagara falls of India because of the horseshoe shaped rim. It is the largest waterfall in India and is fed majorly by the Indravati river. The height of the waterfall is approximately 29 metres (95 ft). During the monsoons, from July to October, beautiful rainbows are created with sun rays reflecting on the mist from the waterfall, which makes it one of the best waterfalls in Chhattisgarh.  If you wish to enjoy the entire view of the waterfall, take a boat ride below the waterfall.  A small shrine is located on the left banks of the Chitrakote falls, which is another reason for visiting this sublime location.

    How to reach: Chitrakote is 48 kms from Jagdalpur. Tourists may hire a taxi at Jagdalpur to reach Chitrakote.

    Amrit Dhara Waterfall starts from the Hasdo River in Koriya District, Chhattisgarh. It is a small waterfall with a height of 90 feet.     Located in the Kanker district of Chhattisgarh, Charre-Marre Falls on the Jogi river is another marvellous waterfall in Chhattisgarh. It is fed by Jogidhara river, also called Antagarh river or Kutri nadi by locals. This waterfall is also known as the jewel or crown of Kanker district. It is a 16 m high zig-zag waterfall which attracts tourists from all over the world. The waterfall is undoubtedly a treat for eyes. The best time to visit Charre-Marre falls is between October and December.

    How to reach: Charre-Marre falls is 12 kms from Antagarh, near Kanker and Antagarh is about 45 kms from Kanker and is connected by road.

Ghatarani waterfall is located at about 25 kms from Jatmai village near Bhilai and about 75 kms from Raipur.
